  • Can you find a missing person who wears a Polar gps?

  • I have been using Polar's training computers since 2004. At first I wasn't sure of how I could benefit from using it, but now I can't exercise without it. I now have the FT80 with G1 GPS sensor and love it.

As a Certified Fitness Specialist and Nutrition Coach for Seven Wellness since 2001, I recommend Polar training computers to clients because they help clients attain results faster. Chris Knight

  • PLEASE!

    Support to Linux Systems!

    Debian/Ubuntu.

    Thanks!

  • Jennifer Villani is a Hottie

  • Free Delivery ......i got mine cheap at polar-watches net they had all colors and big range!

  • great watch

  • i need this or some similar product. doing cardio means exercising at your target heart rate and increasing duration. right or wrong?

so my problem is that the bikes in the gym measure HR but are so brutal. i think i can do better with a fast jog but then i don't know my HR

  • Overkill IMO. A basic polar watch is more than enough

  • 1:19 Homo glance

  • @kaneakuaman or self defense mechanism. stay alert stay alive

  • why was that guy wearing jeans?

  • He has bigger bewbies then the girl :P

  • So is the FT80 the bestest Polar has? I mean this vid is 2 years old.

Or is there another make i should look at - no price limit. I like to gym, swim and run.

Is there something without a strap, just as good?

    The gps is massive bulky!!

  • @SSuperCuriouss Without a strap you don't get 100% accuracy but I have a polar with a strap & another brand from Kmart without a strap that doesn't get that much difference in results as my Polar. I guess it depends on how much you wanna nit pick

  • @AnimationPlantation . Thanks, I bought the FT80 anyway. Was just after comfort while working out, etc. But its ok. I guess I love the brand. :-)

  • A good looking watch, a bit too pricey though. For £300 odd id be looking at a titanium time piece.

  • That was shit! They didn't even demonstrate how the features work.

  • I'm beginner in fitness. And i really can't understand how it works.A personal trainer and training program how it works?! i use Nokia n79 active(where i can see my distance, altitude, speed, heart rate-and i have MP3,Phone all in one! for fitness program and control-i use my second phone Samsung f110 with MICOACH system..+ Moto s9 headphones i can run and enjoy from incoming calls,my playlist and voice coaching instruction at the same time ) is a watch + equip. or self training/control system??

  • Nope...he is wearing it correctly. Look at a picture of the FT80. You'll see that the Polar sign is on the top side of the watch.

  • @sosenbinder Actually he is wearing it right. The polar logo is on the upper part of the watch

  • Nah...jack's cool but the girl looks like she got beat with the ugly stick real good. She should try proactive.

  • jack glover looks like a puss, ill kick his arse takee the chick and the watch, he also has male pattern baldness working against him.

  • Got one today. Even thought this ad sounds insincere, the Polar is still one of the best. I've had F55 for years and it was perfect tool for improving my training. I was hesitant between Polar, Suunto and Garmin, and details decided.

  • I was distracted by the guy in th b.ground at 1:10 doing pullups like they're going out of fashion! Still undecided on this watch

  • I bought the FT80 and put it on with the chest strap. It told me I was burning 9,000 calories per day........ It can't be accurate.

  • It is meant for exercise. Not an all day calorie tracker. HRM's are actually the most accurate when it comes to estimating calorie burn during exercise.

  • JAKIE!! Miss ya! You would be so proud of us. We are using our HRMs at all three of our clubs and we got the grant approved for our local school district and serve as the trainers for the teachers.

  • i like mine.. i dont understand the negitivity

  • I hate the way she looks at her watch and then agrees when he says it looks great (41 seconds) I think I am going to go with a garmin just because I found that so annoying

  • This whole vid was annoying as hell.

  • hahahahaha yeah she is pretty annoying.

  • This is incredibly irrelevant information to base a purchase on. Hopefully you are being facetious, otherwise don't reproduce.

  • polar are the ugliest watches in market

  • I actually love the format of these two. I've seen each of the videos and like the balence between concept and pitch. I randomly know the guy. He did an awesome fitness demo at my kids school. Do you know how I can contact him?

  • This is the gym that i go, xsport in Long island, NY

  • I was thinking about getting this but the price and technical issues mentioned in Polar forums made me shy away. I found that my i phone has a app (GymOne) that can perform the weight training workout function better than this watch. Also for the price it didn't seem like a good idea considering it doesn't include a foot pod or GPS. I decided to go with Suunto T3c which i grabbed of Amazon for about $170 dollars less.

  • I guess, i don't wan't to feel like I am being talked down to.. and they are not payed actors.

But something about these videos seem way to scripted.. and impersonal...

Maybe a video of one of you, just sitting down and talking about a workout you just did, would be good... Make us feel like you guys are human, and not robots..

  • correction, i assume they are not payed actors..

They may be payed to do this.. the right word was..

    PROFESSIONAL actors.

  • If Casio DW-5600E is good enough for Tom Cruise, it's good enough for me!

  • um, that is a watch and this is a heart rate monitor....

  • Do you get the S1 Foot pod and G1 GPS with the FT80? It sugest it is in this add.. An all in One training computer!! Is this wtach worth the $349??

  • This is one butt-ugly son of a watch...

  • Really good! I am working towards weight loss at the moment and whilst this watch doesnt include weight loss plans (FT60 apparently does) - it lets me know my "Zone 1" heart rate (fat burning zone) which I train in. I've already lost a fair bit of weight compared to training before without it.

Once I'm at the right weight; it will be perfect for fitness training.

Its a good looking watch which I wear casually too!

  • Exciting - just ordered one now!!

  • wow... so badass

  • Stfu.. NeoQeero!

  • Very nice! I got one today :)

  • Polar watches are best, I'm sure ;)
