i just bought DKR for the n64 yesterday. the many races i drove on it before i got rid of it years back, have proven useful and i'm practically done. i currently have to do the space races and the 4 time trials there as well. getting t.t has never been easier, when you can just use the repeatable gas-tapping method.

@YoshiFan978 he used tas, no save states, no slowdowns, he makes a machine click what button he wants at every frame, since there is 50 frames a second, he goes onto every single frame and chooses what he wants, to click A or B or just to turn.

This wasn't a hacked movie. I played the game at low speeds on an emulator and replayed it at normal speed so this video could, at least in theory, be replicated on an unaltered N64.

Tool assisted speedrunning is not cheating. It's art. It's not solely used to win the game. A tool assist is made to show what the game would be like when it is pushed to its limits. The only little cheat in this case is Strong Bad's little pet on another screen. :P

It was tool assisted i.e. slowing the game down and using an undo junction to fix any mistakes I make. This was done to show what the game would look like if someone played it near perfectly and is not a measure of playing skill.
