  • who the fuck says "sounds a bit like sonic youth"? please point out the song... i love sonic youth to death, but this is nowhere near anything theyve done

  • @meatisburger2 I agree :(

  • @disinterestedlurker was it one of those folders with people doing all kinds of sports on it? thatd be rad

  • West vs. East, you know how it is.

  • Modest Mouse - Satellite Skin... ?

  • @RaceCarGrin5 Exactly what I was thinking. The two songs sound so similar.

  • "I was dressed for success but success it never comes.." < epic

  • sound a bit like sonic youth

  • @CHEESEISCOOL1234 Yeah and do you know what's really ironic? The bassist of Pavement is also the bassist for Sonic Youth.

  • excellente

  • nothing can be added or taken form this song to improve it. incredible

  • just saw these in brixton a couple weeks ago. hands down best ever gig ive been too :)

  • Yellow - COLDPLAY anyone ?

  • @Vincentehautesavoie only pavement wrote + recorded this before coldplay was even a band.

  • a jewel

  • pavement, you never cease to amaze

  • this song is so amazing.

  • i've been trying to get my best friend jake to hear this song, but for some odd reason he refuses to hear it.

    oh well, his loss.<3

  • lol

  • he sounds like lou reed on transformer on this song

  • The most beautiful song I know of.

  • Tindersticks do a very good version of this song on their "donkeys" album. An even more melancholy version than the original, if you can imagine that. I saw them play their last show in Brixton Academy and Here was the last song they played. The last time is the best time... very moving at the time.
