  • FUCK THE DISLIKES....DICKHEADS, MAY YOU BE HIT BY A BOLT OF LIGHTING.

  • Bolt Thrower...Enough Said...

  • Holy shit, I begin to think they can't make a bad album, Hail to the legendary Bolt Thrower from France \m/

  • AWESOME!!!

  • Bow down to the masters!! still don't know why people don't mention Bolt Thrower when the talk about Cannibal and the likes.

  • @raykanobi85 they don't know about Bolt Thrower - it's too old school.

  • @raykanobi85

I do. But then people go "Who?" and I go "SADFACE :( "

But I just posted a Bolt Thrower song on facebook, and some chick I don't know (teenage chick, mind you) liked it and said "I love Bolt Thrower!" Made my day.

  • This is the band and song that introduced me to this style of music...20 years later and it is still awesome.

  • oldschool fucking death-metal-----AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • asphyx evocation

  • AWESOME!!!!

  • Odd to have the title track first

Not that it matters in the slightest

  • WARMASTER FTW!!!!!

  • bolt thrower FTW

  • josh "the warmaster" barnett`s strikeforce entrance music

  • I think this song is a hommage to the Book "Nathan der Weise" from the German author Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, the message is the same as in the book

  • Los pelos como escarpias sólo oyendo el comienzo!

  • FOR THE EMPORAR!

  • I like... no like, LOVE solo in this song... Hail Bolt Thrower !

  • Bolt Thrower are good at playing slow doomy death metal. It's all about the song.

  • NEED MORE BOLTTHROWER!

  • @Metalbob011 EPIC ALBUM, MUST BE LISTEN TO FROM BEGINING TO END TO FEED THE MIND ITS NESSARY DAILY NEED FOR METAL. MESSMORIZING....

  • Josh Barnnet entrance theme

  • The 4th crusade was a Christian crusade intended to capture Jerusalem again, but instead ended up conquering Constantinople (a rival christian capital) instead. That's my history lesson for the day.

  • Gimme pt. 5

  • how can someone not like this song?

  • @DanScurtuAvatar Maybe they thought Bolt Thrower was a rap group.

    ???

  • Jo Bench is my kind of woman!!!

  • @mirhdynn She would wreck even the strongest of men. Totally Dominate them.

  • im playin 5 ss

string bass now sorry got good buzz its all about finger speed

  • im playin 5 ss

string bass now sorry got good buzz

  • Even though I'm athiest, I'd have to say Jesus was one of the most brutal metal-heads to ever exist (even though he was likely a stoner for believing that he was the son of some fairy dude). I mean, why else would he create such a warped following and initiate a brutal fuckfest in the middle east.

  • @Tigerbeetweenie cuz their was this bigger Fairy named Mohammed and his followers were CONQUERING the Area, the crusades were answer to that dumbshit pivk up a history BOOK

  • @Trav1ste Lol. You think I don't know history? The ONLY reason the Islamic extremists hate Christians is because they attempted to seize control of Jerusalem in the first crusade. (And when the Muslims took it back again they started up 2 more major crusades and then a few pitiful minor incursions). I think your the one who needs to brush up on history,

  • @Tigerbeetweenie You are correct

  • @Tigerbeetweenie Mostly right..Arabs and christians we're living peacefully in jerusalem. The came Turkish invaders who weren't all that peaceful. Then the european christians started crusades, killing everyone who didn't agree with them (muslims and christians alike)

(what you see in every crusade/jihad: you think you are on a Holy War, so everyone who don't agree for what reason opposes the will of God and therefore should die)

  • @Tigerbeetweenie WRONG it was from muzzies taking LEvant(hell, its even on wiki-lol)BTW the first crusade was to RECAPTURE JERUSALEM. quit spouting what you're douche-Prof. rammed down your throat

  • @Tigerbeetweenie lol wtf your answer itself IS the reason why you're an atheist.. :)

  • @kamikaz330 No. I'm an atheist because I need proof in order to believe something. Quite being ignorant. I was just making fun, and hey, why not give a little history lesson as well?

  • Towelheads prepare. \m/

  • Awesome band nothing sounded as sick as Bolt Thrower when this came out,a mix of thrash and sludge/death

  • Good

  • im gonna conquoer iraq tomorrow bymyself. f*&kn bolt thrower dude.

  • Pure classic...

  • GODLY

  • the first time i saw bolt thrower logo first thing what came to m7y mind was warhammer ;p

  • @Psycho888999 whatever it is its kick ass!!! nothing beats old school bands like bolt thrower, morbid angel, and nocturnus! they all JUST SLAY all the newer bands!!!!!!!!!

  • I own a copy of this album. Honestly, I am a huge death metal fan. But this album lacks creativity. The riffs sound way too similar to the rest of the songs of this album. Just listen to the rest of the album and you might agree.

  • @EnormityChild Bolt Thrower isn't really death metal per say- it's more grindcore structured with the occasional death metal riffs and drumming.

Variation's not really something you'd look for in most grind. XD

  • @Psycho888999

If you think this is grindcore you need to go back to metal school and get recertified.

  • @EnormityChild

Creativity doesnt mean that all songs on an album should sound different.

Bolt Thrower always sounded like nothing else, they are just...Bolt Thrower.

They created their own sound, THATS creativity.

  • @Zakillah You're right. They are of course influenced, but who the hell isn't.

It would be truly stupid to claim you weren't been influenced by another band or else.

They say so in the interviews, of course - Slayer, Sacrilege, Discharge.. you can't mould bands together from other bands sounds, the point is that they've created their own sound and aren't simply copycats or otherly homosexual.

  • @Zakillah I respect Bolt Thrower. But this album just doesn't do it for me. Actually, their own sound doesn't do it for me at all. It's one of the few metal bands I can not get into. I believe that every musician should create a song that stands out from their previous other songs. If you just stick with the same mentality, you're going to sound repetetive, and that's lame. These are some of the reasons why I try to make my songs stand out from one another. I have about 5 and more to come..

  • @Zakillah And as for an 18 year old, I think i'm doing a pretty good job for what i'm doing. Look, if I ever thought of sounding like these guys, I would have probably had 12 songs done. But I spent a lot of time trying to make every song i've made badass. That's just my opinion. And yes, I DO think they lack creativity in this album.

  • @Deathraiser92

If you think they lack creativity on this record then show me one release of 1992 or prior that sounds

    even remotly like this.

  • @Zakillah Amorphis-The Karelian Isthmus? :P

  • @Benteiron

    Good answer; heh.

Bolt Thrower are still nowhere near a "copy" of any other band and that was my point.

This is my favourite album of all time and I´ll be damned if someone speaks ill of it.

  • @Zakillah Yeah, didnt mean that BT is a copy of Amorphis, I´d say that Amorphis was influenced by them.

  • Fist song that got me into death metal....it kind of scared me at first...but I grew to like it even more.....

  • Haha, I remember when I heard my first extreme metal songs. I was genuinely scared, and it turned me away from all metal at first, but eventually I came around :p

  • @UnevenElefant5 Homo?

  • @razorhanny

Well considering I heard my first extreme metal song at like, age 7 or 8, I don't think it's entirely unreasonable that I was a little bit scared.

  • @UnevenElefant5 Ah man, I'm sorry now that you said that.

  • The 4th Crusade :Ez az album mindent visz!

  • It's about the 4th crusade, the one where for the first time openly Christian attacked Christian (it happened in the previous crusade but not in this scale). In 1204, the city of Constantinople (now known as Istanbul) fell to the "Franks" , as Byzantines called the Western European Catholic nations. The hatred about this act was so great, that even before Constantinople fell to the Turks in 1453, the Byzantines said "better to wear a fez (turk headgear) than a French hat".

  • @FlawlessFlaw07 you my friend are fortunate to know and remember history as it really happened. Amazing to see someone takes time not to forget things that have happened. Armed with knowledge of human history you may very well survive the comming new world order. Plus Boltthrower rules. what better music for history than this band.

  • This Album is a travel back in time as i was a Teenager. A get goosebumps everytime i listen to this song. Awesome track.

  • More crusades...for peace

  • this is real music heaviest ever the best Hail old school BOLT THROWER!!!!

  • agreed love Bolt Thower Always have they rule

  • this is a barrage of heaviness. one of the first death albums i bought. thats why i will always remember them, aswell as UNLEASHED, CANNIBAL CORPSE and INCANTATION.

  • UK rullezzzz!

  • and of cause this song is greate

  • it's not just warhammer or warhammer 40k, bolt thrower is based on many different wars from history and stuff, but lots of their song names and art is from, or heavily influenced on warhammer.

  • @jollyross yeah, they had to cut a deal with Games Workshop to use the art etc.they all play Warhammer -of course. Rly love this album.

  • Dude, just stop. This album has nothing to do with Warhammer 40k or Warhammer, and the front cover isn't some picture out of Warhammer.

"Front cover "Entry of the Crusaders Into Constantinople" painted by Delacroix in

    1840."

  • The name of the Album pretty much says it all.

  • It's not just 40k and Warhammer - this song is obviously based on the historical 4th Crusade.

(I guess it could be a Black Crusade from 40k, but nobody cares about any of the ones between 1 and 13, lawl.)

  • @mazieXD You are stupid it's about 4th crusade which had happened in medieval

  • @ForeverDying i thought so

  • wasnt the fourth crusade like a holy war?

  • and i got thumbs down, why?

  • @slayerrules86 Jihad.

  • This ablum is in my are stero all the time. For over 12 years I have to listen to this band at least 3 or 4 times a month. Hipnotic and mesmerizing shit.

  • the start is FUCKING NICEEEEEEEEEEE

  • DO JAJA!!!!

  • Andy Whale is amazing on this album. Karl Whillets gets it done. Not a fan of Ingram or martin

  • i do like the sound of Karl. more so than the other dudes

  • I agree, Whales makes this band sound, fucking kills the drums and fills it in perfectly.

  • The 4th Crusade will DESTROY Maryland Dethfest in a few weeks!

    ARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!

  • I can't believe they played twice!

And they ran out of merch in like 2 hours!

  • And that line was extremely huge!

    Hell of a turn out

    -l-

  • I shat bricks when my dad found this album on tape @ goodwill for 52 cent I had a stroke and shat bricks after he found Slayer's "Haunting the Chapel", Morgoth's "Cursed", and Deicide's debut all original print tapes for the same price

  • @Hellthrasher nice song but justin bieber is way up high....

  • Too midpaced...WHAT? That's why I love the Thrower! Not too fucking fast. They got a whole different thing goin' on than most Death Metal groups. Some of their shit reminds me of Danzig for some reason. Very doomy.

  • The group is based off warhammer 40k They are named after a type of bolter. And thus doom gloom and stuff.

  • Beautiful. Epic. Crushing.

  • Awesome. An epic crusade of classic death metal. Hail Bolt Thrower.

  • yeees all hail Bolt Thrower

  • @Overkill02021 Bolt Thrower rules.

  • ahhhhhhh, bolt thrower the death machine:)

  • This shit is fucking amazing! When I was like 15 I went and got this CD the day it came out.
