  • Thank you very much, I appreciate reading from the Bible and making it clear

  • It has a good ending to it. Many (generally dispensationalist rapturist) will say the one taken is the good one. The simple parable of the Wheat and Tares illustrates briefly the whole Christian era until the Harvest at the second coming of Jesus. It shows a simple two age system: this age and the eternal one to come. There is no insertions of a 7 year trib. period, nor do Christians vanish in a secret rapture.

  • I couldn't have said it better :) about time someone tosses out the RAPTURE lie. If you believe in the Rapture, then your GOD is John Nelson Darby... cause he made it up after talking to a crazy woman in the 1800's... look it up!!

  • "Cough" Teacher you cant have the wheat and tares taken with Rapture at the 2nd coming.

  • "Cough" the pre tribulation rapture has more holes then swiss cheese, show me in scripture in context were it shows that Jesus Christ will come back before the tribulation and were it shows in scripture in context and chapter that the rapture happens first then the 2nd coming all in context no pretext, all pre tribers like doing that.

  • sorry not trying to pick on you just pointing out the problems with paul saul of tarsus. rev 2;2 and thou hast tried them whichsay they are apostles, and are not and hast found them liars. who do you think the messiah is referring to?

  • 1 thessalonians 4-17

then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meat the lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the lord. paul once again mangles scripture. im betting on what the messiah said as you stated here. paul the false apostle.

  • how are you going to say paul mangles scripture and paul is a false apostle...how dare you...paul was an excellent scholar of Gods WORD! Second 1st Thessalonians 4-17 isnt "mangles scripture" it appears mangled to those that dont take the time to study...if you read what it says prior to those scriptures you will know that Paul was referring to the people that are already DEAD! It doesnt speak of rapture or anything like that..it refers to people that have died.

  • rev 21:14

    matthew 10:2-4

    acts 1:26

thets part of how you can find much more info on paul the false apostle here on youtube or google it using scripture proves hes not.

  • on another thought if yahweh establishes his kingdom on earth as prophecised why would his people be called up to the clouds?

  • The text reads "in clouds", not "in the clouds" as it is commonly rendered. Compare Heb. 12:1.

Many people find Paul's teaching "hard to be understood" (2Peter 3:15-16) because they don't know the gospel he was called to teach.

Paul was "separated" (Rom. 1:1, hence, not needful to be one of the twelve), to teach "the Gospel of the grace of God" (Acts 20:22-24), not "the Gospel of the Kingdom".

"Study to show thyself approved", and rightly divide "the word of truth". 2Ti 2:15.

  • hard to be understood because paul got nothing from the apostles or the messiah. research it for yourself its in scripture.

  • gal 2:6 /2 cor 12:7 /1cor 15:9 a few more if you wish but i think this will do.

  • Gal. 2:7-8 Paul: "the gospel of the uncircumcision, even as Peter to the circumcision". Again, two different gospels, given by the same One. v. 8.

2Cor 12:7. "a (no article) messenger of Satan" and see context. Compare Matt. 16:23.

    1 Cor 15:10.

  • thats twisting things a bit walter

matt 10:2-4 has the list of apostles, pauls not there.

acts 1:26 mathias took the apostleship after judas fell by transgression.

  • I'm just including the verses and contexts you're leaving out.

  • Furthermore, you have only shown where Paul is not "one of the twelve". Paul himself asserts this in some of those verses you referenced.

But then you make the leap from "not one of the twelve", to "false".

"Apostle" simply means "to set apart (for Christ)", or "a commissioner of Christ". In many of the verses you reference, that assertion is made, but you conveniently leave them out.

That is why I am making sure that the full information is expounded, and the meaning maintained.

  • rev 21:14 there are only twelve and can only ever be twelve

  • Rev 21:14 tells us that "the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb" are in the "twelve foundations" of "the wall of the city".

It does not read, "There were no other people sent out (apostle) by Christ".

  • do you understand anything in scripture? the foundation of the gospel can only be from the twelve apostles mark is johns sir name its in acts? matt 10:2-4 has the list of apostles it is in mark also luke isnt in there. luke is not the only author of acts

  • I forgot that Luke was not one of the 12.

But you've ruined the context of verses, and drawn conclusions. This tells me that you do not understand anything in Scripture and have to make leaps and bounds to discredit an apostle.

  • In John 13:16, "he that is sent" (Gr. apostolos) is not associated with the twelve.

Also, in Acts 14:4, 14, other "apostles" are mentioned, including Paul and Barnabas.

  • If The Acts of the Apostles was written by Luke, "one of the twelve", then we have "one of the twelve" acknowledging the apostleship of Paul, albeit, not "one of the twelve". It is clear by his language that he is a physician, and he is with Paul. Col 4:14.

John was taken to "the Lord's Day" (1:10). The church @ Ephesus would have no need to "try them which say they are apostles", if it only referred to the twelve, since the twelve have been long since dead.

  • I think I have posted enough Scripture here, some of it is Scripture you quoted, to demonstrate to the readers how you destroy context and draw conclusions.

    I'll let the readers decide.

  • You forgot context context you sound as bad as the pre tribers.

  • I just love the calm, sober, logically straight to the text way of presenting the truth that is written down! PEOPLE, FOLKS! HARKEN ON TO SUCH TEACHERS AND TO THE TRUTH AND ELEMENTS OF TRUTH THAT GOD HAS WRITTEN DOWN IN THE HOLY SCRIPTURES! DEVELOP A SYSTEMATIC THINKING IN THESE TIMES OF (MASS-)CONFUSION!
