  • haha Doc talking smack to MJ and then ends up in the fifth row from a simple Jordan head fake.

    Hilarious!

  • Ey all fans of NBA on NBAPremium(.)tk you can see huuuge database of movies, lots of records unavailable anywhere else

  • I wonder how many times Ewig asked himself: What if MJ was not playing in my time?

How much rings could I have?

  • man dude was some other shit

  • hand checking was outlawed in 94 so this is the last year of the really tough defence that todays players don't see.

  • really?

  • Yep. No more hand checking and no more defensive players staying in the lane to protect the basket because there's a 3 second violation.

  • he's absolutely the greatest of all time.

You cant guard him better than this. Whole team focused on one guy and he still is able to score 50 or more.

  • Oh man that's smart! 2:35

MJ use Knicks' double team to create an open shot

I really like to watch MJ fake the defense players

He moves close to post area then Ewing comes out, makes Starks has

  • @jimmychuang I noticed this as well !

  • I never have chance to watch Bulls VS. Pistons, but it fortunate for me to watch Bulls VS. Knicks. They played many many great games! Great series! Thanks for giving me good time while I was in school and college!

I really love Ewing, when I notice he was getting old in about 1998, I felt very sorry for him.

  • dam !! I miss the old iso days.... starks vs MJ was classic

  • By the way nowadays when a player gets injured he'll just easily don't even try to overcome it. Also Jordan showed what are the right kind of attitude to overcome injuries, especially in Playoffs.

  • Kobe can NEVER match OR surpass what MJ did, especially on 1993 Eastern Conference Finals!!!!

  • im not comparing anyone at all,

LBJ is becoming a KNICKS KILLER, Too,

he averages more points than anyone since MJ,

but i think mj averages more, hes had few 50 point games vs the knicks,

Anyone Correct me if im wrong.

  • No way LBJ averages more points than MJ against the Knicks. Even if he did, LeBron is only getting started, when his career is over and his twilight years are included his averages will drop just like it happens with any player.

  • no i ment LBJ averages more points vs the KNICKS, since MJ, i kno he dont average more than mj, but in the lebron, dwade, carmello ERA, he has highest average vs the KNICKS, in this era.

  • Oh i see. Yeah that's probably true.

  • Maybe LBJ and Kobe would retire before 35 yrs, so they can avoid that.

  • The Knicks teams that MJ faced during his career were great. The Knicks teams that LBJ has faced are awful

  • I don't know LBJ's record, but hey man, don't compare todays Knicks to Ewing's Knicks! They are VERY different!

  • If anybody deosn't agree with me that kobe copied MJ than he's stupid!

  • 4:58 was a sick play

  • Bulls vs Knicks...Starks accepting the Jordan challenge...Pippen vs Oakley...Ewing vs Cartwright...the two coaches complaining bout the officiating whenever their teams lost....those were the days! The NBA today just isn't the same!

  • of course cuz Stern fucked itthe whole thing, those were the cats not todays pussy's who look bad it;'s a foul same ol' shit agree?

  • This is when the NBA was must see tv for me, now not so much! Classic Jordan!

  • I can't believe the long-range display in this game! 18-30 from the field...a majority of his shots were from about 20+ feet!

  • Keep in mind that during the 1993 playoffs Jordan played with a sprained wrist and a twisted ankle, after he fell in the Atlanta series. His ability to play above pain an illness is what seperates him from the rest, his will to win was just twice as better than everyone else.

  • and this was in the playoffs. Greatest of all TIME!

  • hey joleroke u see the crossover at 4:02 ? i think someone (maybe u) should do a mix that has just those. that's jordan's trademark crossover right there, and it's his favorite one also. (also the same one he did in that lasts famous game against the jazz in 98)

  • those fag kobe fans need to come watch this game by jordan. they always want to run that shit that kobe's range is better than jordan's.well he destroyed a viscous defensive team in the knicks with mostly deep jumpers.

  • Jordan tortured Starks!

  • Poor FIBA they're making basketball rules more complicated and also they made this just to keep the Europeans with the NBA. I hope they realize that they make basketball a boring sport. I really miss Michael Jordan's days!!!

  • his form on his jump shot is fuckin flawless. the knicks didn't know what hit them, and look how the knicks pack the lane. with no three second rule to worry about, shit, isn't that the essence of what a zone does.

  • Game Four of the 1993 East Finals was the best ever game Jordan played against Starks' defense. I don't know why FIBA always change rules just to prevent the Americans from completely dominating the sport they invented - basketball. Also can you do very physical defense if these are being made illegal?? During MJ's time there's no zone defense because it tends to make this game a boring one.

  • the knicks used to play jordan about as tight as possible.... amazingly good defense but it diddnt matte.r. gotta give NY credit tho.. they played the impossible about as good as possible

  • Game 5 was the best game of that series!!

  • Dunk at the beginning is sick.

  • haha, and somebody tell me Kobe has the better 3-point shot, MJ was letting it rain 3s in the play-offs!

  • My best 10 player ever

    1. MJ 2. Bill Russell 3. Magic 4. Kareem

    5. Bird 6. Wilt 7. Dream 8. Jerry West 9. Tim Duncan 10. Big O (Kobe is around 13, behind Isiah & Shaq!)

  • For you all kobe fans watching this video, this the type of play that kobe is trying to immitate in his recent games. But as the saying goes, nobody does it better than the orig. Michael Jordan so beautiful to watch. Thanks for posting this wonderful collection.

  • Agree!!

  • Does that move at the 4:00 mark look familiar? Like previously stated...no wasted motion, just a simple crossover and step back. And completely effective against one of the toughest defensive teams in NBA history.

  • Haha! Are you refering to a shot that Jordan made in 1998 against the Jazz from the free throw line by any chance? Notice it is Stark's momentum (and not a push) that keeps him off balance. Its the same thing he did to Russel. It was Russel's momentum that took him out of the play. People that say Jordan pushed him are wrong.

  • jxn23 do you have the game where jordan hit that half court three point jumpshot on the utah jazz in 1993 that shit was sick that should shut people up about jordan's shooting range

  • Yeah, I've got it. I'll try to put it up soon. That was crazy, he shot a double clutch jumpshot from half court

  • deny pentration, well you see in this game what jordan did to that shit. he destroyed it,no defensive scheme, unless it involves breaking both of jordans legs can slow him down.

  • MJ has such an economy of moves. I mean there is no wasted motion dribble. He gets to the spot and pulls up and hits. That's it.

  • don,t be a jordan hater. if michael play on today nba we will average 40 point per season. now you cant touch a guy in defense cause its a foul. in the 80's & 90's the referees let the players play with no hand cheking bull shit fouls like now. plus back in the days the game was way more physical than it is today. how can someone say that the teams mj play against were not that too good on defense? are you insane. bad boys, knicks, celtics and the list goes on...

  • Great job editing. Jordan's momentum is going forward He stops, then elevates.. it looks he pauses over the top of the D and sits down in the air. I loved watching him, Mike is gone and I am thankful for Christ's saving grace, I love Him because He first loved me I John 4:19 (1John 4:17-19)

  • Yezzir! the Truth!

  • This is true classic stuff. I sure miss MJ, he was my role model as for many others in Basketball growing up in the 90's.

  • Kobe has 50 py explosions for a 4 or 6 game stretch vs some of the weakest defensive teams in the league throughout the regular season. MJ has 50 pt explosions vs the best defensive teams, in the playoffs. Hell MJ averaged 42 a game in the '93 finals. That's sick. Hey youngn's..do the math..

  • That's not sick, that's not trusting your temmates in a pressure sutuation. And your wrong, Kobe had 62 points in 33 min. against the Mavs. Your an idiot, you don't know anything, people always say against the Kobe did it against the worst defesive teams, those teams MJ played against were not good defensive teams, they were then, but they would suck today

  • They'd suck today? Why do you think the league implemented zone defenses? To make the league easier for bad teams & players. It amazes me how incredibly stupid todays youth are with the old "today these teams wouldn't" mentality. Put the 92 knicks or the bad boy pistons against any of todays teams, they'd lock them up defensively because "todays" teams aren't accustomed to seeing that type of defense.

  • "Lies..that's when you hide the truth. It's when you talk more jazz than proof. And when you lie and address something you don't know..It's so wack that it's bound to show" -- Talkin' All That Jazz by Stetsasonic 1988. Everytime I hear young idiots on here trying to speak about things they weren't around to see, I think about that line from that song.. Dude you were barely 3 when MJ was doing his thing against these teams you're referring to, WTF do "You" know..

  • I meant barely 9 yrs old..

  • If Kobe played in MJ era, he will be like a little taller version of Mitch Richimond. He would have averaged 25-27 pts but NEVER gonna win a championship.

  • Didn't Kobe make like 27 FTs against Dallas? I'm sorry but that's not what you would call "good" defense.

  • lol Look at how badly Starks is pushing him at 4:33.

  • Damn, thats some textbook jumpshooting from the greatest to ever play the game. Beautiful work.

  • you know what starks played good "d" but you just couldnt stop jordan

  • This was my favorite Playoffs series

  • God, he is still my hero. Love the play at the 1:13 mark, where he breaks Starks ankles AND knees with that in -n- out crossover into that smooth jumper.

  • MJ is probably the greatest player ever.. Wilt was ahead of his time and Johnson was pretty close to Jordan in their era but 22 for 54 is gross

  • Well, Starks was a great defender and played as hard as anybody but what're you gonna do when you're against the GOAT? :) Excellent video, keep up posting.

  • MJ worked Starks!!!

  • I loved to watch him play at MSG, the GOAT would toy with them on their home court. I'll never forget when he stood over Ewing taunting him. One of the best moments! You should post the time when Pippen postarized Ewing. Great Memories
