just so everyone knows...the wii will have very awesome graphics. its not about impressive numbers of a console. makes it easier to develop games, but over time its actually waiting on the developers to get good at it. everyone remembers re4 on gamecube right???

This game is unique cuz u dont select the enemy and choose some very badly graphiced attacks, instead, u have to use a series of precise attacks on vital points of the monster. Same for the monster as well, except if he eats u (i don't think they can)....well... :)

i was there in the TGS 2008 and i can say the grafics are great but the controll of the game is horrible (under water and on land)

but fans of this series espespezialy JAPANESE get some nice merchendise

well if you have never played it before then yes stay offline for a few days.. but if you have played others then online right away becase you get more rare stuff for online

The reason why I said that is most Wii games that comes out, the launch have very heavy traffic. I would say either get the game as fast as you can or just wait until it calms down.

Majority of Wii Wi-fi (online) games are extremely busy and laggy during the games launch day. For example Animal crossing had an extremely busy server during the Launch day of the game and not that many people could go on. So basically I was saying If get that game I would just wait to play online to a day or or two after its launch.

hmm... well ill still go on the first day becase wii is new to online means that the servers that where made for thim games was quickly put together... no sens mh is later out it wont be so laggy becase thell have time to fix there servers for it not to lag.. no matter how manny people go on there

Yea, I think i feel the sameway. I think the online functionality for some of the online games were rush. Like Super smash bros. brawl. (SSBB) I felt SSBB was rush or the director of the game didn't want Wi-Fi. (it just based off of a theory of mine). Also, since the MH series has already been online I think they have experience in lags and they improve through it.

Yes, it can. Even a "block" Wii can play against people all around the world. That's if the game's server program allows it. Like Mario Kart you can play all around the world despite it being region locked.

it isn't ^^! it will probably have a name change or something though =P.. the same thing that happened with monster hunter G. it got renamed monster hunter freedom, and was ported to the PSP (the only thing that won't happen is the console port)

They Added in the Whole "enemies will naturally attack each other blah blah" factor in as well. This Game looks AMAZING!! I hope the WII WIFI online play isnt Laggy. Hopefully ill run into some of you guys xD.

I think it was liked on both and will be liked on Wii as well. But I hear the only reason MH went with Wii is cause they didn't want to spend the money or were already on a budget they couldn't go over. Personally I like Sony with the graphics and all Wii I think aimed more for playing games with the family. Only reason I got Wii though was for MH and Zelda.
