Exact Trading Non Farm Payroll Trading Review 6th November

Where do you stand on backtesting? Have backtested your methodology?(probably hard to do as it seems quite 'price action' based). Do you feel that the market is always changing and so you must keep adapting your method? Reason for the questions is that after a few years of trading im now starting to get some consistency, but I keep wondering whether it will just end at some point soon and ill have to spend the next 2 years trying fo find something new!! thanks

Hi,

First things to say is yes I am a price action trader. Teh market does change each day is different, but this doesn`t matter as it is the market which dictates how many pips I will make. Regarding the testing, the edge is in the fact that I am not looking for high win ratios, but many pips when I win. This is almost the opposite of what other people do - as most people lose this shows my edge.
