Ovechkin and Crosby are pretty much what Lemieux and Gretzky used to be.
They're both great but Ovechkin will probably have more points at the end of his career cause he gets to play around 80 games a season!
He's in better shape and can stay healthy even if he plays twice as intense as Crosby.
Crosby like Lemieux will probably miss a lot of games every season. (Lemieux averaged around 65 games per season.)

what a bunch of crap Crosby is a well balanced player with skill all around. He doesn't have the size but makes up for it with the fucking raw fury of a nova Scotian. Ovechkin is way too overrated considering the capitals are just about the worst team in the NHLand he happens to score a bit. But look at the shot ratio 300 shots 30 goals. Well i fucking hope so putting out so much effort. He aims and hopes it goes in.

What makes a player skillfull isnt his ability to score goals or number of connected passes, its the heart and soul he puts into the game. Its the tenacity to overcome adversity, and the strength to continue when your body feels like its going to break. For these guys hockey is life..

Crosby and Ovie were completely identicle in accumulated pt totals 109 respectively.
