  • I was there too. PSU student at the time. We lived in the Orange Bowl lot for a week in an old Winnebago. The Sooner fans were great, and we made friends with a bunch of 'em. Singing Boomer Sooner with a 70 yr. old lady was an experience I'll never forget. We lost the game, but the Sooner fans were so happy, the partying went on WELL into the night.

Wish Marcus Dupree would have played though....

  • Too often Brent Venables is that 10-year-old boy in the shower.

  • The Penn State fan who disliked this video is a pedophile. FUCK PENN STATE! BOOMER SOONER!

  • That would be a flag nowadays lol

  • I was there TOO!

  • one thumb down he was a Penn State fan... lol

  • Keith Jackson was an excellent receiving TE in the FBS and NFL

  • And now let's reveal the real reason it happened: Ray Isom had to tie his shoe, and Paterno made a crucial mistake, instead of calling timeout, he let one of his "favorites", Barry Buchman, come in the game. Buchman was smoked by Jackson. With Isom in, the play never happens.

  • @1MikeMcHugh. The problem with Jo Pa's defense was they didn't handle running QB's particularly those with an arm. He like bombers like Jim Kelly and Vinny Testerverde because they would be stationary with their passes and the defenders could keep the receivers in front. But an option QB was hard because Joe never like to put a spy which is mandatory with the likes of Cam Newton. Holloway could outrun his defender so he had to back off and defend the run which made him susceptible to the pass.

  • They let Don Criqui announce NC games? Hooboy! Somebody at NBC must've been smoking some funny stuff back then. Criqui's exciting enough to just titillate the outer strata of me grammy's belly button lint.

  • the block was thrown by damon stell. the most explosive and fast high school player that i ever saw live. as a junior and senior at putnam north i never saw a game that he didnt run a kickoff, punt, or handoff 60 yds or more. truly phenomenal athlete who was hampered by leg injury in college and a stable of blazin hb's at ou.

  • keith jackson became a solid pro

  • Let's see some home-run balls next Thursday in Miami.

    BOOMER!

  • i know keith. he is tight

  • Funny how Nebraska always gets mentioned in the big bowl games.

  • i miss college football

    how many more days now

  • blocking below the knees downfield was NOT illegal in 1985, I remember being taught cross body block drills in the 80s

  • after further review...my ruling is overturned...that looks fair by today's standards. the block was at the feet if anything...

  • holy shit that was a wicked block

  • Keith Jackson one of the most money college players ever!

  • nice block at the end

  • you just witnessed the greatest TE of all time.

  • Just like it was a waste of time destroying your sorry asses 65-21.

    BOOMER!

  • Saw the game and love it! I was a BIG Nebraska fan back then so it was kind of taboo to root for the Sooners but I did. Final score, Oklahome 25 Penn State 10. OU went on to the Nat'l Championship. Troy Aiken was on the OU team at the beginning of the season but broke his ankle against the Miami Hurricanes, then left OU for UCLA. :)

  • I saw the boz!! lol

  • Keith Jackson....by far the best Tight End in the history of the college game, although he may have averaged 1 catch per game!
