  • continued, broke another transmission or two, destroyed what was supposed to be a spool when I bought it. turned out to be a suregrip. Note to self, never put 850+ horsepower to a suregrip. I moved to Dallas were I do not have adequet space to work on it but I manage. Unfortunately last fall I grenaded a motor in the burnout box. Kicked a rod through the block, took the 400 dollar charlie's oilpan with it, hurt the crank, one rod and one piston. you can't buy just one of those...details at 11

  • I finally got the allignment squared away so that the poor thing would go straight but being so short bad things would happen extremely fast. If I got a little out of shape the only option was to lift, any peddeling would promptly put it into the wall. that pass was a 9.27@148.3. It was a shakedown pass directly off the trailer. After some dialing in and such I got into the nine o's but never reached the 8s. A set of 4.30:1 probably would have done it but I never got around to it, broke an axle,

  • yea, that old chassis is a little over powered. The older it gets the harder it gets to tune.
