  • much better than blossom dearie

  • Julie Wilson is a star :) love her <3

  • Great. Thanks for posting.

  • her eyes scare me at 0.52

  • Ugh. They massacred the lyrics! Cutting the Harris pat/Paris Hat verse? Re-ordering the verses... blech!

  • I met Miss Wilson through "Legs Diamond". Great Artist.

  • What a fabulous performance! Love this song :)

  • this is a great version, I've never seen the movie from 1958! but I'm looking for Ann Miller's version as well...

  • agrees with treble pop....always makes me smile....as it does any guy:)

  • Outstanding. She has a great voice and her comic ability is superb. If this doesn't put a smile on your face, nothing will.

  • I've just been looking at different performances of this song, and this clip is by far the best one I've seen. Julie Wilson is fantastic! You can tell she really "gets" Cole Porter's lyrics and is having fun with the number. Why wasn't she a bigger star?

  • I know it's not on youtube, but Julie Miller's performance was the best in my opinion. Borrow it from a friend or buy it. You'll see! :)

  • i was looking for ella fitzgerald's version of this. i have never seen this before - only heard it.

    she's brilliant

  • She's wonderful - beautiful and comic at the same time.

  • I wish Superman would suddenly appear.

  • brilliant!!!! she reminds me of me gran x

  • her face

    lol

  • This video clip is a treasure, just like the lady herself.

  • What a wierd directoral decision - to have Bill leave at the beginning ofthe number and have her sing to his picture (or no one in particular). In the original play, she sing to him the whole time.

I guess since this was a TV version, they diecided to do it all in close-ups, without him on the stage.

  • Well, outside of the facty that this song is her moment rather than his, this demonstrates that Lois is more true to the *idea* of Bill than to Bill himself ...

  • This is amazing! I got a chance to meet her when she sang a concert with the Connecticut Gay Men's Chorus. She's a sweetheart and a class act.

  • @yarnover Amazing to see the young and feisty Miss Wilson. I met her through my friend Peter Allen, when she starred in the ill fated "Legs Diamond". She is a class act.

  • @yarnover she really is amazing. i got to spend some time with her at the yale cabaret conference last week and she is such a lovely person. so sweet and graceful :)

  • Bill Hayes. Used to see him walking from the train station in the Chicago Loop when he lived here. As for Julie, a singing actress from the top of her gorgeous head to the tippy-toes of her beautiful feet.

  • her mouth moves funny..

  • For all of us who know and love Julie, this is a an absolute treasure for us all to enjoy. There is no one like her nor will there ever be!

  • Staggeringly terrific to see her in her prime.

  • YES! JULIE, I LOVE YOU! Richard Skipper

  • Thank you for this clip! Not only is Julie a great performer, but she is one of the most genuine, kind, supportive, beautiful people out there. She's a living American treasure, and the Grand Dame of New York's Cabaret Society. Wonderful to see her young and at work.
