The Olsen twins are very difficult to tell apart whereas the Mowry's are very easy

You can tell the Olsen's apart in many ways. Mary Kate has darker hair and wider lips. Ashley did more of the serious roles where as Mary Kate did the funny parts. You just have to look closely, but sometimes I look and can't tell the difference. My brother watches the show with me and always looks in scenes for who is who. Sometimes looking at the hair placement and how much hair in one do to the next.

There was a scene in the wedding episode where Michelle asked her friend Howie to marry her so they could eat wedding cake, and they literally switched from Mary-Kate to Ashley from one shot to the next. They did that a few times, actually. I never really had a hard time telling them apart. I get them mixed up in the episodes where they were babies, but other than that, they really do look a lot different. Ashley has more of a baby face.
