first, this is real you can do this but secondly it looks like a "cox orange" apple and they are really soft and break too easy, try a golden delicious or granny smith because they are a lot harder ;)

Try it yourself it is very possible to do this. Look at the very beginning how it moved. There is no way it would move like that if it is cut unless I was a some sort of genie.

its simple to break an apple with a finger... but you need to prepare... cut the apple(till the middle) in the place you will place your figer to hide the cut mark. And smash it with your fist. Literally you will break and apple with your finger... but knife will help you at the start... :) simple. I did it, and it worked...

It's impossible to have it cut before hand and make it look like that. Honestly, try it yourself. The trick is to have your non dominant hand on the apple and hit it with your dominant.
