  • I'm soo glad this is on here! I was in the parade :) and you showed us at the begining for the most part, thank you! (I'm in the band with the black and white uniforms)<3

  • If You Pause The Video At 4:53 You Can See Me Walking Next To One Of The Trucks :-D

  • Congratulations for the Pittsburgh Penguins, who had won three Stanley Cup titles in 1991, 1992, 2009.

  • For the record, I didn't mind the Burgh when I lived there. I interned at Shadyside Hospital and have a lot of close yinzer friends...I even married a yinzer!

But it was just too slow out there for us to stay put.

  • Let's go Pens!

  • City of Champions with 1/3 of a million population. Suck it USA.

  • Ok numbers:

    This is for Phillyturd

    Pittsburgh population: 312,000

    Philadelphia population 5.8 million

ratio: 375k fans at Pitt parade

ratio: 3 million at Philly parade

If you divide the fucking numbers you fucking child you'll see Pittsburgh has the upper hand. Ohhhh wait you are from Philly so are more than likely uneducated. I'll do it for you:

    averages

    Pitt Attendance: 120% of population

    Philly atendance: 52% of population

  • Compare how the Pittsburgh fans celebrated with the "celebration" the Anaheim Ducks got 2 years ago.

When the Ducks won the Cup they had to hold their parade in the arena parking lot because the local residents voted against having a parade.

Even then the Ducks had to give away free hotdogs and pop as an inducement to get people to attend the celebration.

  • Thanks Mario, congrats boys-Is hossa on suicide watch?

  • philly parade..police estimated about 1.6 million fans...but philly is a much bigger city, and that was ur first championship title in many many years, so obviously it was bigger u dumbass...we had 3 championship parades in the past few years Pittsburgh - 2009 -Superbowl win -Stanley cup win -Pirates 5 games behind 1st -Ranked most livable city - 28th in world -Ranked 6th for job growth -Ranked 18th economically -Hosting the next world G20 summit and much more.. What does philly have?...a bell
  • Pitsburgh does have the pretty soft fans still you guys had lemieux and jagr and won the cups twice with them and still didn't support the team after they left! Lemieux came out of retirement to get the fans back and became an owner to save the team! If you didn't get lucky and be the worst in the league long enough to have Crosby and Malkin your team would've been bought and moved long time ago. The year Crosby came the team was almost moved even. I hope your fans don't leave when Crosbys gone.

  • Please, that was a long far more complicated story then that. Pittsburgh has always supported ALL of their teams, win or lose. We still go to Pirates games, even though we know the eventual outcome of 75% of them. When the Steelers were losing in the 80's and somewhat in the 90's no one abandoned them. And if you actually lived in Pitt, you would know that 95% of us were PISSED they were trying to move the Pens.

Yes, we give more attention to the Steelers, just like Detroit does the Flyers.

  • LMAO! Max Talbot had a grand old time at that parade, didn't he? He sure earned it...

  • ur soo lucky u were there LUCKY
