There may be SOME depictions of "Black Royalty" somewhere in Egypt from SOME time period, but that certainly does not mean they were Egyptian or even Egyptian rulers.

The Spanish depicted the Mesoamericans as dark brown (not all were dark brown), the Mesoamericans depicted the spanish as completely white (not all were albino white). And these examples came from times when there was more effort to use realism as opposed to symbolism.

Rare materials are normally reserved for royalty and the elites that controlled them. Race doesn't exist as a biological construct, but simply as a social construct based on phenotypes. Race is quantifiable. Race superiority doesn't exist because brain complexity doesn't differ enough between races - which is the only thing you could base superiority (in general) on.

Civilization is relative and prone to ethnocentrism. You can do the checkbox method like long-distance trade, food surplus, etc. Probably the least relative out of all the relative ways to measure culture.
You only need to look at Egyptian depictions of themselves to tell that they were not "black" like we think of it today. Blacks think they need some great civilization to point to and say "they looked like us" like Europe and the Greeks. Doesn't make anyone any smarter (black or white).
