i went on this ship.. less than a year ago they could have done better on the kids part like they had a couple of things.. but like with Carnival they have waterslides mini golf everything! this ship had like pools.. basketball.. and that big checkerboard thing..
@Quiksilver1050 That is exactly why I took this cruise. i searched tirelessly for a less family oriented cruise ship because I wanted one that didn't have a lot of kids. There are TONS upon TONS of cruises that cater to children. This is a staple for this ship. I wouldn't change that. You should have done your homework...it is very clear this is not a kids cruise. Pick another. We that don't have kids, need a ship too! :)
I just got home today from this ship. 7 day cruise from Seattle to Alaska (Victoria was squeezed in too). It was very nice and I enjoyed myself. I will miss this ship and the people aboard it.
Teen club was great. I was 14 last year when I went. Had a great waiter and assistant They did tricks and stuff. The ship only runs from Seattle to Alaska stopping in Juneau and Ketchikan. And Hubbard Glacier. The shows are great the commedians ae good the veriety shows are nice. Do the Polar Bear Plunge when they announce it. 34 degree water is so much fun to plunge into. Dinner is amazing. i suggest the New York strip steak and frog legs. They are AMAZING. Best week of my life to be honest.
I worked on this ship from April 2007 to November 2007. Boy do I miss her!!
