BUT!

Gakupo's voice was made from the japanese singer Gakt.

and so was Gumi's. i forget what female singer did hers though, sorry.

@littlemonkey246 As far as I know, the voices for vocaloids had people behind them, like Asami Shimoda, who is the voice provider for Rin and Len Kagamine. The company (Crypton, in this case) just takes the voice and then edits it to whatever they were looking for, so the voices aren't necessarily computer generated.

@vampyrowithaknife Yes, Len's voice is from Asami Shimoda (who also did the voice for Rin) Asami could alter her voice to go lower and be somewhat similar to Len's. Crypton just edited a few things to get Len to be what they wanted.
