if we're talking survival plans. i'd run to my friends house, hes got an old Georgian town house. then we've already joked we'd take the fridge, food, etc up to the third level. fill the bath with water and hold up there. if they get in he has a crawl space in his ceiling which leads to the roof so take the ladder up with you. they cant get to you. stay there til it calms down and if it doesnt. either rag it in his golf to some shack in nowhere fields or take care of yourself.
@Hardrada88 How much food is in his fridge plus that is perishable what you want is canned goods up there, you should block off the stairs as an extra precaution and a just in case you wanna go back to the second level.
@tomrhodes1 Depends his parents keep it well stocked but unlike him i work for a living lol so mines usually empty except milk, pesto..er some ham. I'm imagining a minus tirith scene now! haha. But seriously my friend nick is an mma expert and his house is an armory as is mine. we'd be fine for self defence but this aint america. no guns. melee only. im a viking re-enactor so got axe, sword, saex, bow hes got a load of stuff. never hurts to make a plan lol
@Hardrada88 LOTR FTW! but yeah if your gonna choose to stay on the second floor of a house you have to think that in time power's gonna shut down cause no-ones running it so that's your fridge food going off in about 24-36 hours thats why i'm encouraging the use of canned goods.

@tomrhodes1 Yeah i'm England too, 'on the naze' as a matter of fact just over the river from Harwich. Lots of boats ;) so when in doubt take a large sail boat and then to get supplies just head around coastal towns. They'll be less of them in small rural/coastal towns than there will in cities. OR we've a castle in colchester so hold up in that. destroy the bridge bit but it means no way or or out without a 10ft drop haha.

@tomrhodes1 Good ideas, but where will these guns come from :-o the only gun i have is an antique double barreled flintlock and thats not useful at all haha. I like my axe :) and i'm not a bad shot with a bow either but only got a few dozen needle bodkin arrows so they'd go straight through anything.it's weird i had a dream lastnight which seemed proper real about zombies :-o makes me wonder if the 'walking dead' twist is hes still in a coma haha. in colch we have a castle, i'll hold up there :)
Oh sorry I didn't mention my plan did I? well I'm a clay pigeon shooter and I know where there is a store with at least 150 shotguns and air-rifles not to mention they have a ton of ammo in there attic and behind a steel door which is where they do gun repairs.
so thats where I'm gonna get the shotguns from plus with a tesco's nearby aswell as a couple of grocery stores and a B&Q just up the road with wood and fortification supplies
anyway my group would hole up in the upstairs of the store because the stairs there are basically planks so we break those and use rope to get up and down but I'm probably gonna grab a B&Q lorry and load it up with supplies we need and try to head down to a port.
The Walking dead in my opinion is Brilliant seriously i've started buying the comic books just because of the t.v series and they are really great in fashioning ideas for survival plans and about how others would act during

Yeah, the dungeon is pretty good for that I once had a tomato plant growing there using natural light from a tiny hole in the roof support. so reckon you can grow most things and its even got a well..as most castles did and this ones functional. and yeah many swords, spears etc. I've a nice personal collection for my events and some live steel for live events hence two missing finger tips lol. ignore the rest, any that get to close for comfort, chop-gone. :)

@tomrhodes1 Haha nope the toilets have a common drainage system and also the original early medieval toilets open upon to the ground so yeah. shit covered undead. the best bit, i make mead :) AND there is a pub literally 3 second run from the gatehouse so someones who nimble can get us a few pints. plus theres a shop on the ground. everything else can be made, grown within it'll be easy. most likely go mad from being alone (names sword 'wilson') do visit can you teach peeps how to really fight;)
@tomrhodes1 True :p it won't be cold, the fireplaces are huge and intact so with a little work you could have a huge fire in most rooms. The display cases (mostly wood with metal and perspex) was thinking could be made into various 'blockades' incase of a breach. great thing is there are various levels you can lockup and retreat too. as for the smell, a tourist fantasy/hippy shop closer than the pub ;) incense mate..lots of it. i'm not haha i still have to get there, clean it out and lock up
Do you fully know every bit of the castle? ya know the maintenance entrances, emergency exits, staff area's and how will you get food and block off the main entrance?
@tomrhodes1 yeah i worked there in the storeroom and gneral after hours staff :) had hours to go walkabout the entire castle all doors at near enough 10ft up off the ground with no ladders etc and the bridge is half wood and stone so burn the wood part down..two steel gates and three oak doors with steel bindings nothings getting through lol. plus they have a ton of weapons and their own generator with emergancy power.

My plan involves one of my hobbies which is clay pigeon shooting and because of this I know where the shotgun stores in my area are (ps I live in the uk so guns are pretty rare)
I raid the gun store and park my car in front of the dorr and window then we knock out the stairs which is pretty easy because its just planks
@ldestiny22 for the next stage I have already packed my trunk with tins of food so we wait in the gun store for lets say... 1 week so that the panic dies out and we have a real analysis of whether we are gonna be rescued or not if not then there is another store across the street we would raid that and put the supplies in the attic alongside the sleeping quarters then if still no possiblity of a rescue I would use a spare car to get down to a major shopping centre so that I can take a lorry....
@ldestiny22 then drive up to a B&Q so that we can grab fences and other defensive supplies and build a small wall around the street so that we can keep the 'zeds away and start to build a small community...and well thats the basic idea of my plan thanks for commenting :D

I haven't seen this movie but I really want to. And I don't care what people say, I think 28 Days (The best) and 28 Weeks are still classified as zombie movies.
i like this movie because it was most real. there are no survivors in this type of situation. everyone's fucked. this version of the theme is beautiful.
It says on the dvd of 28 its a zombie horror/thriller. Zombie is a word to describe someone who has no control of their actions but still move. The idea that zombies eat you is just a steryotype, they're undead zombies, because the ones in 28 days/weeks aren't people with controk of themselves then you could class them as "zombies" I would think
man, it's like they have aids and they want you to be infected with that rage virus; it is like semi-zobies; they don't want you dead, they want you to be on their side.
Zombie plans need to be:
1. Actually do-able. You're not gonna be able to drive halfway across the country most likely.
2. Don't go for the hero approach. Do I even need to say why?
3. Don't think you'll have time to gather all your friends and family. They may be infected or off somewhere.
4. Make your plan flexible. If you plan to hide and the place you plan to hide at is unavaiable, make sure you can go somewhere else.
5. Make sure your plans are long term. Wood can break easily.

only flaw is really limited space to grow food in and have people stay inside, not to mention during the winter it'd be freezing right?
I had a similar idea with the pub but it is literally across the street from the gun room so no problems there :D

If I had two bullets then I will pull out my German bastard sword or my Italian Flanged Mace...
And they are far from heavy. The Italian Flanged Mace is 22 1/2" long and about 2.3 lbs! The German bastard sword that I have is 3.10 lbs. And yes I know how to fight with them very well vs others with the same weapon, I think I can kill lots of Zombies head on... But I rather avoid them... (too many)

Stupid sex scene to somehow make it slightly more watchable (to guys and lesbians)
Gore to make it slightly more action-like.
And dumb explosions and shootouts to make you go 'oh...action...again...'
It's not a classic film.
Still,
I'd rather watch it than Twilight.

It says on the dvd of 28 its a zombie horror/thriller. Zombie is a word to describe someone who has no control of their actions but still move. The idea that zombies eat you is just a steryotype, they're undead zombies, because the ones in 28 days/weeks aren't people with controk of themselves then you could class them as "zombies" I would think
