  • how much?

  • Hey! what are the details on the airdam? Is it a custom piece for 710's? Because I can't find one but I noticed the 120Y front airdam seems like it would fit.

  • Its a replica of a BRE 510 lip, it just needs the bottom of the front guards pinched in slightly to make it line up. I have no idea about a B110 airdam (not that I've even seen one) but I'd guess it'd be too narrow.

  • @dejouxgt Thank you soo much! I had doubts that there were a 710 airdam made because there were so few produced and no one I know who has one on their 710 has known where its came from.

  • really like it!!

    :]

  • Alguien sabe si el 160j sss trae transmision de 5 velocidades, porque el mio no es "sss" y solo trae 4 velocidades. y muy aparte de eso "NICE CAR"

  • Was there a seat belt buzzer in this car?

  • Not when I bought it. The whole car was in bits so its possible itd been removed but it didnt look like it.

  • I wish I heard what a seat belt buzzer sounded like in a 1970s Datsun.

  • They never had buzzers..

  • wonderful car

  • Kudos to you!

    Very Nicely Done!

  • Nice car. I am lucky enough to own one of these (160J SSS Violet) travelled just 79k from new by just ONE owner. It is immaculate. Goes very nicely next to my 74 Galant GTO that has travelled just 100k since new. FUN.

  • bullit you regret selling the beast?

  • Best 160jsss I've seen. The rear quarter window on the coupes are sweet, best style and closet to the S10 silvias.

  • Nice 160J. Any shots at the IRS suspension??? My datsun 710 has leaf springs, would like to see your IRS!!!

    Cheers.

  • Sorry I dont own the car anymore so cant take any. The suspension looks exactly the same as 510 IRS

  • Too bad you sold it. Not many 160JSSS around the world, much less in A shape. Can I ask you for a favour? If you ever come across a SSS 710/160J dash/gauges, and emblems, please let me know, I will buy the parts, and any stuff you find for a SSS. Cheers. Jaime.

  • brings back good memories. i used to have a 1975 160j sss. i thought it was the dogs dangly bits. i still have pics of it.

  • We had those here in England as the Datsun 140j or 160j. The 140j was a sedan, (my mum had one in 1982) and the 160j was the coupé. I believe there was a 160sss, but I've never seen one!
