WM Inland Empire has an Autocar ACX Elliptical somewhere. I know its there Monday route somewhere. Looks real nice. I saw it being towed on the freeway.
WM Baldwin Park has the regular Xpeditor ellipticals around for ASL and FL. THere's an ACX Curotto in Arcadia that goes by my house.

Do you ride on the freeway? You still got some pretty good footage though! That Elliptical was flipping lids haha! Sounded weird when he was driving though. This division of WM is Riverside county so they have no Lid flipping rules which is cool. And the New trucks are PETE ELLIPTICALS!! There is a new user (curottocanmaster) out of Moreno Valley who posted new pete ellipticals and one flips lids fast too

@Trashman242 THIS wednesday Ill be going back to La Habra to film the Mini Amrep Msl that I missed last week (he came earlier that usual) so i have to be up early to have time to get there. Oh and this coming trip I WILL be riding my bike to Corona. No I wont be on the freeway but there is a bike path along th storm drainage canal that goes straight there and the Wed route closest to yorba linda is collection day so its about a 25 minute ride. Not bad for me at all. And its flat all the way!!!!

Can't film? Lol I would've told the driver to pound sand and continue to film him. He's on public property as are you, so that gives you the right to film whatever the hell you want. People film themselves getting pulled over or other altercations with cops and they can't make you shut the camera off or give them the tape.

Now I can find any truck in the yard and the route they collect so Its cool. But yea I normally do film them even if they say no. As you said Its a public service on a public property so Im allowed to film as I please.

@3amrepmike3 they got alot of new petes for automated and autocar for trash and recycle the curratto ive seen for greens flips lids maybe it depends on the driver far as i know burrtec doesnt have anything in OC they still have some old 90's volvo for automated in my area try burrtec in pomona they got alot of oldies
Oh I bet that hurt when the driver said no... same thing happened to me in Ashfield: "so i got here all excited to get my first bit of footage of the new single-axle Iveco / Superior Pak collecting recycling and the driver immediatly says no." lol What did the boss end up saying to you when he did call you anyway? How did you manage to get the shots you did get... without driver's knowledge or? Looks to me as if that tumbleweed is the symbol representing your hopes rolling away hahaha :D

Watching but not recording....I filmed the opening shot when he collected up close then thats when he said no filming right after. The next shot I snuck in because i wasnt about to leave with nothing. And the amrep driver didnt care but had just finnished. The boss was nice and explained his concerns to me. All I have to do to film now is give him a ring first and he wont mind my filming. So ill be back soon

That sucks, but not surprising. The recycling guy who services my area is the same way. He doesn't like it when people film or take pictures of the truck. That is why I only got one video of my recycling being emptied, while I got several videos of my trash being emptied because the trash guy is pretty cool.

That means they have the most customers, so they get the most complaints, and the most shit talking on service compared to all other companies. The refuse industry has evolved into a competition. And like all competition, the lower guys want to take down the top guys. So they have to be really careful. I respect it. But it was a bit overkill.
