Sweet stuff man, what china is that i need to get one! I have like £150 and ive seen the meinl mb10's but are they any good? any other reccomendations on china's for a real trashy sound?

hey man! The best china you can get in my opinion is a Zildjian 18" Oriental Trash China. I wouldn't use anything else these days! They're £203. The one in this video is a Paiste 18" 2002 China or something I think.

Cheers for your support. I really appreciate it. Yeahh some peoples comments are quite funny, I'll be recording a new drum demo thing soon which I'll whack up on here, that should shut them up hopefully!

The nicest crash cymbals about in my opinion are HHX Evolutions. They're not v.cheap though to say the least. AAXplosions are still nice and more affordable. Its about £170 for a 19" i think. Something like that anyways.

thats the cymbals dan went and bought for the shitty mapex we have at the school, i didn't know they where very highly acclaimed, i think we only have a 16" crash though so its pretty light

Nah i don't use them live, I love the sound of my raw kit (not the kit in the video), so i wouldn't even think about using someone elses sounds! I think triggers are awesome for bands like Sikth etc, but for me, my band, and the music we play, i think a more dynamic/natural approach goes better than a triggered sound.
