This theme has been improved upon and improved upon ever since it was made. I love this arranged version, as well as the previous versions, my second favorite being the one from Star Ocean 3/Valkyrie Profile 2.

While I hate SO4, Iseria Queen was probably the best boss the game had to offer aside from Gabriel. She actually made use of using rush combos and strategically placing characters.

Star Ocean 3 suffered from the same malady as FF8.

It would've been better if it ended halfway through. I still had fun playing it, but...that plot twist wasn't so much a plot twist as a lame duck train derailment >.>;;;

Watch the cut scenes before the whole promotion shebang / well before the individual character endings. Specifically one concerning a black hole/whirlpool during the ending sequence AFTER you know who goes "wheeee" down the tubes. Just watch for a white dot. You'll know it when you see it.

Not to me.... I even call the game broken....

It's abnormal difficutly spike causes me to ragequit cause I'm somehow underleveled despite all the grinding and I absolutely HATE the synthesis in the game. Goddammit it makes no sense to me even WITH the help of gamefaqs.... all this and on only the normal difficulty. >_>

@XGiftedGamerX Synthesis is far from being needed to end the game. I dont get why is the game so hard for you when i easiIy crossed it underIeveIed. Either you need to Iearn better how to battIe or you just are no good at it. Either way, the game is not broken. As i said, i found it a bit easy and used no guide. OnIy thing that is bugged is the power of meIee/physicaI cIasses that gets too excessive compared with mage cIasses.

The thing is for every boss there is a cheat. A weak point. You need to get better and learn about your enemy in order to defeat them. Blocking, and bringing up your xp bonus is a good way X.D I had no real problem until I hit the second boss and last boss. The rest was a sinch for me really. The Synth in star ocean 3 was hard, this game it was the simplest thing ever even simpler then Kingdom Hearts. Read, you want, put it on simple. :D.

Thing is I die when fighting those spherical things you face in that certain area (forgot it's name.)

They give crap experience, cannot be staggered by normal means (so I can't hit them with my full combos).

Then theres those goddamn tanks.... >_>

@brainjuice654 really?is side kick such a overpowered move?i know dozens of battles in wich side kick doenst pull.If you chose to spam side kick just because it works most of the time, you dont know how to play the game. mean, are u really spending the rest of the game using Fayt all the time and spamming 1 skill? you are just using a small trick. I could buy ou synth a powerful weapon and win the same. There are all kinds of tricks, what differs is the way and time you chose to use them
