I had my xperia x10. Its good. But, the only problem is the touch screen is not responsive and fast! Other than that! That phone is fantastic! I'll give the phone rating of 8.7/10!

The phone and the interface looks gorgeous. But my Nokia 5800 with C6 FW is faster than this...

When you use an iPhone it feels like you're physically moving the things on the screen around as it is so responsive. This looks like it would feel as though you are using gestures to perform actions. You swipe left and 1/4 of a second later the phone reacts, it's not like it's glued to your finger.

Anyway I don't know if I'm explaining myself well, but I hope the move to the newer software helps performance.

Sooo much better than the HTC Desire, Better Build, Better Design, Much Better Camera, Bigger Screen and you can see it in sunlight unlike the Desire, And the update means it will only get better which is more than be said for the HTC.

If you want FM radio, buy a other phone. This phone does a lot of other things which are more useful. And you don't even notice that Android is "outdated". People nag about apps you can't use because you need a higher version or something, but i haven't found 1 app i couldn't use. And the UX interface makes you forget you only have version 1.6. So i't aint a shame, it's just a very good phone. Well done SE!

it is a shame when a smartphone that costs more then 500 euros come with an outdated OS that doesnt even support voice control over bluetooth, and when se phones are the best music phones ,this smart one doesnt even have FM radio.

For me it's a shame; my nokia 5800 xm with symbian s60 OS does much more and it's at least twice cheaper than the xPeria!

But if you are satisfied with the xperia, well, good for you....no shame there....

I was excited about this phone... over 2 months ago. Now there are much better phones on the market such as the HTC Desire... I rather take AMOLED instead of old TFT anyday. And since this is a Sony phone, I'm pretty sure this phone won't see 2.1 update until Q4 of this year.

Yippy This mobile has some really breakthrough OS IDEAS though it is not as gr8 in performance currently but SONY ERICSSON guys have this habit of releasing new ideas so weakly just like they released new animated flash multimedia menu before.But If this kinda OS adds some performance it will surely kick iPhone in the ASS :P (Iphone haters dont get excited coz new iPhone 4G is gonna be earth shattering :)

@ggcortinaa: Sorry, it does..... Its not perfekt with 1.6. The HTC Desire is much faster than the X10. but HTC already use the Android Version 2.0. So this is not the end ;-)

Well this is sure smoother than HD2 eventhough the web intergration of all the services in timescape takes time to update. But that is of course network/wifi depedent.

They bundle it with 16gb in Japan btw. Hopefully we all get that kit.
