Say what you want, I thought that The Reader and The Wrestler wer the best movies of the year. Im glad that the Reader got the nomination, shout out to people, cuz not enough people would have seen it. Whereas the Dark Knight, everybody has seen it. Dont get me wrong, I totally loved it, but if it weren't for the oscars, not nearly as many people would've heard of movies like The Wrestler, Milk, Reader, Slumdog etc.

Yeah this oscars were awful, Frost/Nixon and Doubt were the great losers with 5 nominations and zero awards, slumdog is good but very overrated.

The Dark Knight deserved nominations for Best Director and Picture, because few movies are so anticipated and after you see it, you want the sequel the next day
