I'm a rivethead from way back. Love Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Van Halen, too many to name, all the greats and let me tell you, I saw Michael, robert, Oz and Tim a few times back in the day and they ROCKED just as hard if not harder than some of my other favs. When I formed my first Christian metal band after I was saved, THESE guys were the ones that I looked to for musicianship and the show in general. I still pop in my Stryper CD's and bang my head to this day. God Bless STRYPER!!!

I saw them yesterday in concert and while we all prayed together Robert Sweet was sitting in front of me on the monitor box. Cool experience to pray with Stryper.
I saw these guys in the mid to late 80's (Right before the release of "To hell with the Devil"when they were at(what it seems to be) the height of their popularity.....great concert. This is an excerpt from their "Live in Japan" VHS tape. I used to have that. Seeing Robert Sweet play live (up close) was a treat. I think he's a great drummer.

I saw these guys in the mid to late 80's (Right before the release of "To hell with the Devil"when they were at(what it seems to be) the height of their popularity.....great concert. This is an excerpt from their "Live in Japan" VHS tape. I used to have that. Seeing Robert Sweet play live (up close) was a treat. I think he's a great drummer.
