The sound out of your Dumble was identical but had much more dynamic and touch sensitivity to it... But i know that the Vibrolux is not very powerfull and dynamic compare to a 100W beast.. Great playing as usual ! ;-)
had a 63 red but the finish was an eighth inch thick deep red metal flake never saw another one like a guy told me in the old days the old gibson guys would finish the guitars the way they felt like it on any givin day they were old and worked part time couldnt find new people to replace them i traded a 63 reverse firebird for it my friend has it now traded me a 50s tele for it had it a long time though dont ever get rid of it never found another one like it i screwed up bad on that one
Hey there Gregor, great playing man. I've seen most of your vids. You acheive great tone not to mention the incredible guitars you play. That overdrive pedal is awesome! Where can I check one out! And may I ask what is the name of the sampler pedal you use? It's a blast watching you play man, take care.......
The guitar is great, but really it is the amp and pedal. Fender Vibrolux and Okko Diablo. I have both, and my tone quest is over. If you want that tone that's what you need. Oh, and to have Gregor's skills might help too.
I've always loved the ES335. In 1975 I was gonna buy one just like yours. New, it was $750 back then. I could kick myself in the butt for not buying it.
I take it that the overdrive pedal is before the looper to avoid the loop becoming muddy? I only just got an RC-2 and learned the hard way you can't record a loop on the amps clean and then play over on the overdrive channel.
