I'm still *pissed* that they canceled this. However, if you are too, you can try to do something about it. I'm not meaning to advertise, because those are annoying. But, hit up Sci Fi's website and check out the Dresden forum.

SG-1 had 10 seasons, Firefly(go to hell Fox) and Dresden (Damnit Sci-Fi and your low budgets) got less than ONE season.

We still have Atlantis, and there's another SG series coming up as well. Suck it up, i like the shows but you people seem to be getting a little fanboy on it.

Dude, while I'm sorry you're ticked off about SG-1. The fact is that they're making two movies to wrap up the Ori plotline and the series. None of the people involved in the Dresden Files had anything to do with the cancellation of ordering new episodes and plenty of people who liked SG-1 are also fans of Jim Butcher's books. Lay off.

I'm not convinced this is worth what it's filmed on yet. Personally this needs a revision before it's launched instead of languishing in limbo for 3-4 years while they decide to show it or not.

I'm not too happy about the intial choice of actor for Dresden, and I'm not convinced Marsters would have even been appropriate. Dresden's basically a "rockstar" character but a younger average guy (from all indications) and this guy looks a little older and a little worn around the edges. And there's no way in hell that gal who's playing the police department head smells like strawberries, and she sure as hell doesn't have blonde, short, brown hair or cute written on her.

Stargate SG-1 lasted ten seasons. I hardly think that's criminal. Besides, you think boycotting the SciFi channel will encourage them to make programming decisions that more suit your tastes? Good luck.

I did the same thing when SciFi cancelled Farscape and kept SG-1. Wasn't worth it.

@jhjsaat Not only did SG-1 have 10 season but did you really want them to make more? Yes the show was nothing less than amazing but after about season 5 things started to get dumb, as the seasons progressed it got worse. I for one am glad they ended it, if it had gone on much longer who knows how bad it would could have been.
