  • oh c'mon, hasn't anyone noticed where Will-I-Am gets his ideas?! this is one of them. being the same age as him, I can vouch for the fact this was some cool stuff back in the day! Johnny Harris & Meco were the gods of Galactic Funk!

Although this sounds like it might be a remix

  • You have no idea how awesome you are! I've been looking for this song for ages! My impression of this music was that the guy who composed music for Buck Rogers must have had a hand in it. Thanks for letting me know who did this awesome song!! Do you happen to know the titles of the other tracks?

  • the music of the 25th century rocks

  • Robert Moog should have gotten subsidiary checks for this episode.

  • His name was really "Robert Moog"? I figured the inventor just thought of a funny word and named his new keyboard after it

  • take me to this future - please!! ;)

  • i can imagine someone playing this in a car

  • is the epsodie 21

  • Absolutely..in addition, she cant even keep in time with the music on instruments that even been invented yet. You will see what i mean at 00:51-0:54 when she looks like she's wiping off some foul substance on her "guitar".

  • You ppl can stop giving this man thumbs down.i think it was a compliment:)

Those guys are good at being assholes.

  • i love this whole episode, but I'm very happy to see this awesome clip isolated. haha.

  • For some reason. i watched 0:37-0:42 about 15 straight times. There is just something about that retarded backwards move that this chick does that has made me piss my pants about three times already. Thanks for making this available.

  • I want a MIDI controller like that.

  • MSTRKRFT could work magic with this.

  • That left me speechless and scared... The human race is going down a dark path.

  • Amazing song !

Johnny Harris made the music after the shooting and he tried to reproduice the musicians moves. And it fit pretty well.

  • This is THE SHIZNIT! Love me some Andromeda (Johnny Harris).

There is some of his other stuff posted here and it's good.

  • The bomb dizzle! 500 years in the future and Andromeda still kicks ass!

  • I knew Youtube wouldn't fail me. I needed to reference this clip for some friends to show off this music, and here it is. Even learned a few things from the comments.

  • you're very welcome I was doing the same thing ages ago when i discovered it wasn't on here, so I just HAD to put it up. so people like us can make obscure references and prove a point... my work here is done (thanks for the comment)

  • @edk72 it's jonny harris with a tune called odyssey.

  • Kickass ! Too bad they cancelled this show

  • do you think daft punk were watching? (and listening?)

  • Maybe.

  • & then Buck replied back "no not the who the Beatles"

  • I remember seeing this back in 1979. If I recall correctly, Buck said this group reminded him of the Beatles. Someone replied, "The Who?" It was later discovered these space rockers were using their music as a drug to influence people...like futuristic "pied pipers."

  • Yup, you remembered correctly, for the Record, it was Wilma that replied, "The Who?"

  • This is my favorite Buck Rogers episode.I think the one with the horse that has the red eyes & spits water from his nose is funny to. I think it's called "The Senator"

  • Correction, it called 'The Satyr'.

  • I know I was Corrected a year ago I didnt remember the name & spelling

  • Sorry.

  • Comment removed

  • That's OK

  • it's on hear wow...... I was going to do the saaaaame thing LOL LOL

  • Jerry Orbach...!? Which one was he!?

  • He was the evil manager/producer Lars Mangrove, the one behind the brainwashing of kids with Andromeda's music.

  • Jerry Orbach. How crazy is that?

  • What's this music?

And who send to me this music in mail?

  • The Song ist Called "Odyssey Part 1" and it was wrtitten and performed by Johnny Harris.

It was released as 12" Maxi in 1979.

You can also find the Song on the Soundtrack CD to the Game "GTA San Andreas" in slightly different Version. The Track was produced by KC of KC and the Sunshine Band

  • Thank you!

  • Thank You :)

  • One day, in the Future...we will actually HAVE the technology to make instruments such as "Electronic Keyboards" and we may even be able to wear lit-up gizomos like the folks in this video...
