  • Home made solid state relay power controller, 68701 processor, home made console, and a 486 laptop using visual basic version 1(dos).

  • What were you running the lights off of, a console of did it have its own built in system?

  • i went there today it was so amazing!

  • At the beginning it looks like it's jumping!

  • Hi Nick,

  • Nice. My school does this too, but we are Americas Tallest Singing Christmas Tree. It is 67 feet tall and has 20,000 lights. It also has 300 students in it and 100 outside of it (:

  • just act like your not home

  • Get outta here: the singers are IN/ON the Christmas Tree?

    That's totally AWESOME!

What a great set-up, and great singing on their part!

Hey everyone: HAVE A BLESSED CHRISTMAS IN 2009 & A HAPPY NEW YEAR IN 2010!!

  • I first saw these guys in a photography book "A Day in the Life" series on Christmas my sister gave me for Christmas during the worst year of my life: 1990. Actually, it turned out to be the best, because I met my husband; we just celebrated 16 years of marriage and have a beautiful 14-year-old daughter. We've been through many hard times, including the loss of his oldest son, but Christmas is still a wonderful time for both of us.

  • there is one in knoxville that sevier heights babtist church in TN put on its holds 275 ppl and its 59 feet tall. and there is like 5000 light bulbs

  • this just scares me

  • love the song

  • i watched the one that went on yesterday in joplin MO. They said that she was shipped from texas to missuori.

  • very nice

are they with the mormons ?

    marc

  • Marc, this is a Baptist church.

  • well thank you - I thought this was on salt lake / they sound like the Mormon Chior

    of which is a complement

but thanks and hope they continue the good work they are doing

  • hey if this is the one in wisconsin i used to go to this church everyone there is awsome

  • This one is in Muncie, Indiana, and everyone there is AWESOME too.

  • this is not tacky, we are having one built at our church, it takes 5 hours to assemble, and 45 architects. it takes 2 tons of steel to create the frame. and the lights are computer operated, but they have to be controlled manually, you have to go to college to operate one of these

  • they do that at a church in buffalo and they have done it for a really really long time... i was in it a few years but not in the tree singing i was part of the rest of the cast i was dancing as an angel

  • Nice use of tree lights, and great song.

  • I was in one of those one year at our church. It was great, and a lot of work. I didn't get to see it from the spectator's view. We didn't record it either. Beautiful.

  • Hey, I was in the tree this year. It was my second year doing it and it was pretty fun, other than all the long practices.

I'm on the far right side, on the 5th row.
