Great update Ryan, I was wondering how your m5 is holding up in the snow this winter. Being the first winter I will have mine in Salt Lake City UT, I wanted to get your input on winter driving and handling. Are you still rolling on the same all Michelin All-Seasons from the welcome to the channel video? Any and all input or info would be great.
@wegshake It doesn't like the snow very much, but if you're careful, it's okay. I still have the Michelin Pilot Sport All Seasons on, and considering the rear wheel drive, they're okay. Of course the back wants to come around, but the DSC system is VERY good at keeping the car straight no matter what, if you don't do anything too strong.
Also, would be able to give me the name/type of BMW rims you have? Any information that would help me get a pair too would be nice if that is possible. I don't want you to go spending ages researching but if you know off the top of your head what they are, that would be awesome.
Cool video, and by the way do you know were I can get door trims (aluminum), center console, gear stick and all the rest brand new or second hand? And do you know of anyone who does similar videos like yours to E39s?
@SILEXon Door trim, in my experience in the Titan line (aluminum) finish is very hard to find. Your local BMW center may be the best place, or, if you can find it on Ebay, that's good too.
I got my shift knob from a website called ECSTuning, they have tons of great stuff for these cars! I do not know of anyone that makes similar videos on these cars on a regular basis. However, please stay tuned to this channel. MANY new videos are coming regarding more E39s!
"the beast" looked great after that quick wash! its me again. You mentioned M5video guide but what makes your channel GREAT (and the reason I subscribed) is that your informative videos and tutorials are FREE. You seem to genuinely want to help and give tips about this car without charging, like the M5video guide. As I mentioned before you have given me the confidence to start looking for one of my own!
@grosas84 Thank you so much! That is very nice to hear. I can relate very much. When I first got mine, I went out to look for videos like these. Needless to say, there were very few good videos about these cars, so I want to change that!
Great video. Thanks for posting these!

@E39Source Thanks for all the help, the more videos you can make on this car the better. Every time I watch one of you videos I learn something new.

@SILEXon Awesome! That's my goal. There should be several new uploads to the channel in the next ten days.

You should talk about the power of the car, i don't think you have. How does ride and performs

@nolo121 Yeah I'll try to put it in a future video. When the weather gets better, I'll try to make some videos about driving it. Thanks!

You should always disable traction control in snow - it's not only easier to drive, but it's more fun too :D

@5Qu1Z33r It would be even more of a rocket ship without DSC on.... oh, and did I mention, that would be a suicide run?
E39Source 1 month ago
@E39Source It's my third winter with M5, no problems so far. Just try it without DSC - M5 is very easy to control, don't worry ;)

Do you consider to buy winter tyres for next year? Or do you have all weather tyres now?
YouBocaj67Tube 1 month ago
@YouBocaj67Tube I don't have many winters left here, so that investment wouldn't be so good.

Please more info on the exhaust tip issue, is there a link to original post?

@avensons007 Yeah, but you have to buy the subscription to the M5VideoGuide for it.

@sabz245 I'm talking with BMW North America about the issue, I'll see how much it will cost and I'll go from there.
