  • you the man

  • this is a little tractor compared to are oliver super 88 propane

  • its called harvesting corn u hik

  • @maxamo007 actually no, its just a picker it still would have to be shelled

  • The dis-likes for the video must be Oliver haters. I guess everyone can't own the a tractor that is the right shade of green. ;)

  • @SmokinDodge nope i dis likes because he asked to like it ! bad thing to do :)

  • How long would you reckon it took you to harvest the half acre of corn?

  • That's waht is so good about the older tractors they run for ever!!! I have a 1950 Ford 8N I do brush hogging with. They are waht I call stupid simple. Actually I made a vid of a side exhaust I did for it this weekend if you want to check that out. It's loud now LOL Hot rod tractor ☺☺☺

  • Thats not a 70, Its a 77. A 70 only had about 20 drawbar horsepower, while a 77 which repalced the 70 had about 35 drawbar horsepower.

  • does your truck have a 350?

  • @slowride55

    305

  • @ChuckE2009 either way its a beast :-)

  • Awesome, looked like a lot of fun!

  • Thaz alot of corn. And yeah I'd take the v8 too

  • Very Nice Corn Video.... That was really Cool.. That old Ford made me think of Justin out for a Sunday drive..

  • SWEET!

  • COOL WHAT THE PTO RATEING ON THAT PICKER CAN IT WORK ON A KUBOTA L3240 TRACTORS

  • @testa375L

I dont know what it is, and no one seems quite sure. Phil has a farmall H that he tried with the picker a year or two ago, and it barely had enough power to run it. This oliver is way more powerful, and it has power to spare. Farmall H pto hp: 23 or so, oliver 70 pto hp: 37 or so.

So, somewhere between those two, like farmall M sized or bigger.

  • ChuckE2009 , Chuck, the H is alot older then at Oliver too, That would explain why it didn't work well. the H's were built in the 1930's and that Oliver was built in the 1950's.

    Len.

  • @Conrail6370 farmal H built from 39 to 53 and oliver 77 built 48 to 54

  • @testa375L on oliver 70 with a gas engine has 30 horse at the PTO

  • @testa375L If a Oliver 77 is pulling it, the Nebraska test PTO horsepower on the gasoline model was 33 hp. A Farmall H has around 23 hp, a Farmall M is stronger than an Oliver 77, but I would rather pull that corn picker with a 77, it has an independent PTO.

A Kubota L3240 has 30+ horsepower though, so I think you should be good.
