Marrakech is a wonderful place and I would recommend anyone to go. I went in 2008 and it really was a life changing experience. The people were the nicest people I have ever encountered and I have done quite a bit of traveling. I was invited into someone home for food, drink and conversation. I took advantage of it and learned a lot and it changed me. This is a place where you say hello to a person you pass on the street, not ignore them with your nose up in the air or act like they don't exist.

This is the Disneyland for fearful tourists.

Marrakech is much more interesting than this.
