@MrFungus420 It's not, I have a different opinion. But I don't think it was god or Jesus or what ever's intention. It was nature's intention, for me if anything nature is god.

@THELDSLIFE So you're saying the same god that sends geese over your little gathering for support is letting dozens of innocent people slowly suffocate under rubble in New Zealand right now??? Sounds like a cool guy
@ChrisWales22 - God sends rain down on the just and the unjust. In like manner, not all are immune to dangerous situations which occur in our ever-changing physical existence.
@jdbohdan - There are two ways to live your life - one is as though nothing is a miracle, the other is as though everything is a miracle. ~Albert Einstein~
Which of these methods of operation do you subscribe to?
@jdbohdan - then it was just another miracle. Call it whatever you want. But as Einstein suggests, we can't pick and choose what a miracle is. Everything is either a miracle or none of it. God has used animals to give unto men "Signs" just as he had done in previous years. He sent the children of Israel "Quail" to eat; so that they might be preserved. To some, it would just seem like another ordinary bird; a happy accident. But to them, it was a sign that God still honored his covenant.
@trentspirit1 - God cares about a nation that cares about him. He has often allowed those nations to be swept away when they no longer continued to put God first. It has happened over and over again throughout history. Consider this portion of America as the ones that DON'T wish to lose their established identity as they who put GOD first in their lives and as a nation.
Hopefully folks like yourself will always remain in the minority.
Or you could try your hand at making your own godless nation

Btw, I have to say that I've never met a Mormon who wasn't a very kind person (I'm an atheist myself).
This Saturday, a friend of mine called "TheThinkingAtheist" here on YouTube is hosting his regular live podcast. For this week, he's looking for believers to call in and discuss their faith.
He's a good guy and it's meant to be a constructive conversation. A calm, reasonable believer would make a great guest. ;-)
Some people are superstitious and believe anything some uneducated, cold blooded, televangelist shill on FOX''news'' will tell them..
Some people know about aerodynamics, wingtip vortices and the evolutionary process that allows birds to understand they can assist each other in long migratory routes by flying in V-Formations.....
@THELDSLIFE ..All rational and reasonable humans question ''miracles'', specially when it has to do with aerodynamics, wingtip vortices and long migratory routes...
@TheDrunkenHer0 - Indeed... as these particular birds flew "South" for the winter, it would be customary for them to take a complete detour heading "Straight West" towards the Lincoln Memorial to then headed "North" once again. They must have left something behind at the rest area and had to go back... or there must have been something wrong with the leader of the flock on that day... he doesn't know his South's from his Norths.
It's not like Animals are special... they're just animals.
@THELDSLIFE ...Evolution has allowed flocks to understand that traveling in V-formations allow them to travel longer distances north, south, east or west...
P.S. All living breathing creatures are special to me...Specially those that have managed to survive millions and millions of years of evolution...
@TheDrunkenHer0 - There is room for God's creation as it deals with the "Time-Tables" of eternity. I am the first to admit that this world took millions of years to be prepared for human existence... an existence which would give the children of God the most advantage and chances for learning. Do I think that Genesis is literal? Not in all cases or in all things. Is mankind the creation of God and amongst the more intelligent creatures in all of creation? Absolutely.
''Hang on, let me just tell you what I'm thinking. I'm thinking about killing Michael Moore, and I'm wondering if I could kill him myself, or if I would need to hire somebody to do it. No, I think I could. I think he could be looking me in the eye, you know, and I could just be choking the life out''
-Glenn Beck.
This man is walking freely among us, and says god is talking to him...
@taterpony - I think the lay man knows very little about the mysticism of animals, how spiritual they really are, and how at one point men once was able to "Talk with the Animals" during the early days of mankind's sojourn on earth. (ie, if we believe the Bible, then we also believe that a Man once spoke to his donkey and the donkey talked back...)
The sign of the dove also came to Jesus to represent the Father's approval of that act and as a testimony to mankind that Jesus was the Savior.
@dgillbee - Your welcome. I mostly did this video re-broadcast to continue a series of videos which recount OTHER mere coincidences where GOD had been around in the creation of this nation, the preservation of it, and his promise to mankind that should live upon it. If we keep the Lord's commandments, we shall prosper upon this land of promise. We must THANK HIM and LAUD him for the wonderful freedoms we now enjoy and FIGHT FOR HER as oft as occasion permits. This is my way of giving support.
People underestimate the small and simple things... It's about the most consistent thing that opponents to God and faith seem to do with regularity...
@megagoosepoo - I suppose it won't make any sense to the faithless and the godless among us. Even if they chalk it up to "positive, hopeful thinking" it was STILL a manifestation of the Universe. Even if someone has that sort of idealism based on we live on an earth in a sea of energy, it's quite possible that the will of that people could have caused the miracle. Men have attracted even STRANGER things into their existence based on their own imagination and power of thought.
While it's easy for Tea Partiers to chalk this up to divine intervention, or God acknowledging us as a "Christian Nation", remember that many of our founding fathers were themselves Deists or influenced by Deism, a philosophy that believes in a divine creator but rejects the notion that God would interfere in the affairs of man. God didn't make politics, we did. God doesn't care about political rallies. Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and John Adams would tell you the same thing.
Well, given that geese fly in a V formation quite often around this time of year, I'm going to go with coincidence over divine intervention. I mean, are American's really so self-obsessed that they think that the creator and master of the universe gives a damn about their politics?
Yea, they love them now. But I wonder how many of those geese will get hunted when some of these people return to whatever backwoods town they came from.
It's understandable that people have trouble wrapping their head around God, and Jesus. But it's equally troubling to believe the theory of humans swimming up onto land, evolving into apes eventually becoming man given the fact that we have dinosaurs fossils/prints dating back 240 million years, some of which we unknowingly walk within close proximity to every day, yet haven't been able to successfully link the evidence of mans theories of evolution, which took place far closer to now than then
@4336time - hey... a bazillion years of uncertainty is the best way to prove "Evolution!" don't we all know this? Heck, they don't call these facts a theory for nothin'! Whether Moses' words are 4000 years old or not, men have come up with stellar reasoning for the creation of this world, mankind, and the universe! Heck, until about 10 years ago, we didn't even know that we live in a sea of Galaxies that seem to go on without end...but who are we kidding. Science is easier to have faith in, eh?
@deblew1 - God has provided many signs and communicated many things because of animals. It was the "Quail" that saved Ancient Israel, the Sign of the Dove came when Jesus was baptized. There are some biblical scholars who feel that we at ONE point had the ability to communicate with animals. Well, if folks are a BIBLE believing people, there was this ONE time that a donkey spoke out loud to a human. I'm sure that the faithless and godless among us will be less astonished with signs like this.
This is FANTASTIC! I not only love seeing the crowd in such a huge mass but the divinity of the flock flying by ... those who don't understand don't have what it takes.
In spite of the confused among us I always enjoy migratory birds in flight. My ancestors were native to this land and were successful. No tribe could stand against us as we needed more hunting grounds so we moved them. That was natural survival of the fittest.. A larger tribe came and we fought and won for a long but in the end we had to move. I belong to that new tribe I have defended it fought in its wars. Old with a failing heart I would still put on my war face to protect the her.
@TheCactusSoldier - there was a time when certain animals were considered as sacred. The scriptures often mention of "spiritual signs" being carried out by animals.
You jesus freaks never cease to amaze me, crediting god with every little tiny thing, including natural occurrence. What -- if one of the geese had crapped on you, would you consider it holy shit?
What's it to you "non jesus freak". And by the way, what makes you so angry? Does it bother you that people believe in the Christ Jesus? And have you asked yourself, what inside me makes me cringe when I hear that name? Is it "His" name only that you can think of, that makes you react that way? Hmmmmm ever wonder Why?
@catfish561000 - It would certainly make SOME feel more comfortable if we should lose faith and allow Satan FULL control over the hearts of men and women completely circumventing man's agency as he has done in MANY other countries... America is special. God has blessed, endorsed, and helped to FIGHT for such a nation so long as there have been a "god-fearing" lot STILL willing to pray and put their trust in the Lord.
Like Abraham's prayers to save a city, if we weren't here, it would be ruin.
@Soquilii I'm seeing you getting a lot of hate from the bible-thumpers, and I want you to know that I'm on your side. I'm sure that if these people saw a dog turd sort of shaped like the Virgin Mary, they'd all be praising it as holy shit.
There is absolutely NO doubt in my mind that God knows the 87% majority in this country is correct and wants to show His support to us in taking our beloved country back away from socialists. Return to our Ten Commandments of which our country was founded by the Forefathers. Pray for our country and REMEMBER NOVEMBER...it is now imperative we act to begin the removal of B.O. and his socialists from office. GOD BLESS OUR AMERICA! MIT:2012
Once upon a time there was a people who had a land that fed them & cared for them. One day some visitors in a boat came. Then another boat, & another. They gave the Indian a book & taught him to pray with his eyes closed. When they opened them again the Indians had the book & the visitors had the land. This land you whites call your country was based on lies & theft. Where is the honor in that? And have you maintained the country in the condition in which you found it? Search your heart.
@Soquilii You need to brush up on your history and while you're at it, go ahead and look inside your heart too Soq. Since the beginning of time, man has wandered this globe hunting and gathering, conquering, they plundered, pilfered, purchased and sold slaves, all kinds of heartless and ruthless things. And by the way, for your benefit, I feel I have to mention that I did not put "White" in front of man, like you felt it necessary to do, because every race and religion has done it. Every one!
@SuperDutyDieselMark ...I think this was wonderful, but I have to disagree with you on 1 point. It's not that God thinks 87% majority is correct - its that 87% majority think God is correct and we are in agreement with His leadership and guidance for this country.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Psalm 33:12.
@SuperDutyDieselMark And buddy--our country wasn't founded on the Ten Commandments. How stupid can you possibly be? And "Remember November" is a phrase that was used to remember Guy Fawkes Day--which involved British Parliament, not US elections. Damn; go to college.
@SuperDutyDieselMark Just out of curiosity... which set of 10 Commandments are you referring to? The Bible contains 2 sets of 10 Commandments. And can you actually name them all?
Swans and Geese are mystik animals since 6000 years for celts, greeks, egypts, maya, inka, azteks, hindi, shamanism, indians... actually I try to find out more about this! Also to find in Fairy Tales of the Grimm Brothers - It is so exiting! GOOGLE it
Seit 6000 Jahren haben Schwäne bzw. Gänse einen Platz in der Mythologie der Kelten, Gri...echen, Ägypter, Maya, Inka, Azteken, Indianern, im Hinduismus, Schamanismus, in Grimms Märchen.... Es ist total spannend, , danach zu googeln!
I think it's a coincidence there, Einstein. When you start to see "miracles" in everyday behavior in nature, it's a time you're living in the wrong era, bud. If you want my advice, jump back in your time machine and set course for the Middle Ages.
@MrTouchShriek - some would suggest that the Lord received a sign when he came out of the river Jordan at his baptism. It was a bird that descended. A dove, to be exact. A sign of peace. But I'm sure you don't believe in signs or miracles. Those things have either been done away with long ago or you have no room for faith anymore in your life.
@MrTouchShriek poor poor MrTouchShriek..... I know why you will never see a miracle..... Einstein.
Do you consider geese flying in V formation at 10am, exactly the time the rally was starting, right over the reflecting pool down center towards the stage at just the time the music was opening "Everyday Behavior in Nature"?
That is everyday behavior..? wow! Isnt nature great.
@TheDrunkenHer0 - So Jon Stewart, because he doesn't proclaim himself as a comedian on the "Comedy Channel" this makes him a news man? He has writers. They write a script and he just reads the script. He's an actor; plain and simple. The Steve Colbert report, which follows his show usually, is also a comedy routine. Would some suggest that he is the "Smartest News Reporter" for the conservative media based on the same reasoning? (rofl...)
Sometimes I just watch those shows for a good laugh.
@THELDSLIFE ...Its like Jesse Ventura said to Shannity,,,'You really wanted to talk about Anna Nicole Smith for a whole week.?' to which Shannity was left silent.
Fox ''news'' is just a right-wing propaganda machine and the higher ups are giving them their talking points.(scripts)
The Daily Show is a mock news comedy show, which just happens to catch the lies, distortions and manipulations of ''News'' networks, in a comedic way, this is why they need writers, to be funny.
@TheDrunkenHer0 - Stewart is a tool... just an actor that got lucky and now he has a platform, of sorts, to show everyone who he really is. Sometimes I give him his script writers too much credit when I say, "He's just an actor reading from a script." but in reality, that's what he does. He's earning money as an entertainer playing on the heart strings of those who fill his bank accounts because he has a niche. How much of his own words he actually believes? Who can really know?
@THELDSLIFE Ummm...had you ever been to Washington? That is where birds hang out--and shit. It's natural, bird formation. God isn't what our country needs--we need brains.
@TheDrunkenHer0 First of all, Jon Stewart would have spelled it correctly--sandwiches; you're thinking of Christine O'Donnell (you know, the 4,000 year old politician who doesn't know The Constitution and migrated here from the Black Forest of Germany?) Secondly, this is a bird formation. I can assure you that if, like me, you live any substantial portion of your life away from FOX, you would know that birds, in fact, fly like this (science, huh?) (SEE NEXT COMMENT)
@TheDrunkenHer0 Furthermore, birds fly like this even in San Francisco where, I have no doubt you assume God has no presence. Even in Hell where these San Franciscoan birds I'm sure inevitably go for supporting gay rights (in the most educated city in the United States,) birds will, in fact, fly in the same pattern that they, for the millions of years they have existed as an evolved species, always have. God has no place in our government--and if you've read The Constitution, you'd know that.
People give "Animals" much less credit than they deserve. According to the "Bible" animals could at "One Point" speak to men, the "Holy Ghost" came unto the Lord as a "Sign" with a "Dove" flying down out of heaven and rested upon the Lord... that sort of thing. Of course, to the "Faithless" and the "Godless" this would seem to be a mere coincidence... but to us; to those that are God-fearing and "Faithful" members of Christian Faiths would see this as NOTHING BUT a miracle before their eyes.
This reminds me on the baptism of Jesus Christ in the Jordan River as the Holy Spirit came down on him. It was seen "like a dove" landing on his head. SMILE
By the way - what I see may not be the same like anybody else will see. I have my own eyes SMILE
Listen to the applause of others who see and testify SMILE
Oh - can anybody translate my name? "Hand Gottes In Allem" (use Bing Translator or just pray for the gift of tongues or maybe you´ve got this talent by accident). SMILE
I don't go to church, and in world of hate and pain, you can support good signs just as well as the bad ones. But, just as the song was finishing up, and Glenn, unable after a year to get a fly over of any kind, it was truly a wonderful way to have that fly over anyway. You don't have to believe in miracles, but it was clear to all of those around me, that we all felt the meaning of its spectacular timing. Never saw them again in the pool. I'm sorry if you missed out its meaning.
miracles are for those , who can see them. And birds are a miracle always, wherever they fly and sing. I love birds, they listened to Franz von Assisi, when he was preaching. This morning i heard some birds singing as in the time of my youth and they brought a special message to me: That I am still alive.
@reallybigname - yeah and Seagulls just happened to be hanging out in Utah hundreds of miles from the ocean, to help devour the insects that threatened crops. I can't make the faithless and the godless understand what a miracle is. It's impossible.
@THELDSLIFE Birds flying over a body of water - wow, what a miracle. I will agree that birds, humanity, and nature in general are all "miracles". But, thinking that the birds flew over specifically to bless all the good Christian people there - that's just ego. I would be willing to bet that happens on a daily basis there. Why do you have to take something beautiful and turn it into an egotistical justification for your religion? If a giant fireball fell from the sky, would that be a sign too?
@reallybigname - why not? the Holy Ghost descended upon Jesus with the "Sign of the Dove..." ... again... to the faithless it would be hard to describe. Fireball? That depends on what end of faith someone exhibits or the "lack thereof." The faithful will be led to places of safety while the world and all that in it is will "burn as a oven." But you have nothing to fear if all of the prophecies and promises were just idle threats made by crazy old men long ago.
@THELDSLIFE You think that I don't understand the feeling evoked by beauty? I just don't project anything else onto it like many Christians do. They are birds. They fly over water. They are beautiful, and we are lucky.
If a giant storm came over and lightning hit the crowd, I wouldn't think that it was a sign from god. I would think it was a terrible tragedy, caused by natural means. What would you think? ...a sign that the rally was cursed, just like the birds are blessed?
@reallybigname The Mormon cricket is not a regarded as food by the seagull frankly nothing eats Mormon crickets accept another Mormon cricket. I have seen Mormon Cricket at plague levels in Nevada as the crickets got run over other crickets would move in to eat there dead and get killed themselves this gets repeated till billions of dead crickets make the road so silk you cant drive in it. So for the seagull to attack and regurgitate such a nasty insect as the Mormon cricket can only of God.
@reallybigname... and yet, there was no physical trash, or garbage, left behind.
The grounds were well cared for. That was a manifestation of the spirit of this event.... the spirit of these people. Compare that with the tons of trash and debris, left behind after the inauguration and you will see the difference, in attitude.
@cowgirlmoon So, the lack of trash after the event was a sign from God also? Wow, there are signs everywhere! Thank the Lord! As for your trash comparison to Obama's inauguration... maybe it had something to do with there being at least ten times the number of people at Obama's inauguration? Multiple sources concluded that the inauguration ceremony had the largest audience of an event ever held in Washington, D.C. at around >1.8 MILLION<. Glenn beck had approx. 87,000. Do the math.
@reallybigname By the way, 87,000 is a lot of people! I'm not sure why Fox keeps trying to inflate the numbers to over a million! Maybe 100,000... but a million? C'mon!
@reallybigname - if only about 8-10% were actually able to attend this event, it wouldn't discount the hundreds of thousands of others who could not be present. I'm sure that the number of MANY others equaling 1 million include folks like my Dad or Myself who were unable to attend for various reasons.
The trash is something we took care of...didn't need God to help us pick up the trash. And we have done the math, and it's at least 1/2 million...and it doesn't matter the size...that should have been more people pick up the trash...but not so for group that cries about mother earth so much. I picked up trash myself, as everyone did, because we do care about the grounds we were on instead of just watching trash blow all over the place. Disrespectful and disgraceful.
@alansomewhere Have you really reduced this conversation to how good the Christian right wing is at picking up trash? Because, if its true, you can put on an orange jumpsuit and start collecting trash whenever you feel like it!
@reallybigname - the difference is one group of people do so by choice and the others do so because they are compelled to do so. But we're not comparing against those two folks... we're comparing them to those who attended the inauguration of our latest president... who didn't feel like they had to pick up after themselves at all. They just left a mess because they knew that someone else would take care of it. And yes, I'm talking about "The Obama Crowd."
@THELDSLIFE No, you didn't direct anything rude or boorish towards me individually. However, you attacked ALL liberals for being dirty, disrespectful, and disgraceful! What about your verbal trash? You gonna pick that up?
Also, in reality, trash isn't what's killing the environment. Right wing environmental policies have done the most damage to our ecosystem - not some wrappers at a location guaranteed to be cleaned by someone. Hello! Picking those up doesn't count as environmentalism!
@reallybigname - that all depends on how you interpret what has been prophesied of old. We are either going to survive a "Total" cleansing of the earth by fire or we're not. Those religious nuts in the Old Testament think we will; including Peter, the Apostle, and they're all in agreement. This world will be 'bathed in fire.' Don't get me wrong... I reduce what I call "driving around town" and do things on my own to improve our quality of air... but I also await resolve when the Lord returns.
@reallybigname , no and it does not matter. If you can't see the difference in attitutde, you will never understand that a persons attitude, matters. If you can not see love, you will never understand that love exists within the heart of those, whose political ideologies differ from yours.
@cowgirlmoon Oh, believe me, I see how people's attitudes matter. For instance, these people all think they're blessed because a flock of geese flew over. You know what else matters? Critical thinking.
@alansomewhere , alan, THANK YOU! YES! The number is not important. The spirit was strong. My tea party held an event in my hometown, to honor the spirit of this rally and a flock of geese flew over us, just, as we were about to start our rally. THAT is a deep connection to spirit and we acknowledge and are grateful for that connnection. God bless us all.
@reallybigname , No, it was a sign of the difference in attitude. You were not following the previous remarks. It did not have to do with the number of people, it had to do with the difference in attitude of the people who attended. There were nearly, Two Thousand people who attended the 9/11 Tea Party, last year and the grounds were as clean, as they were , after the Beck Rally...... I am not dissing those who attended the Inauguration, I am only saying, LOOK at for the TRUTH of who we are.
@THELDSLIFE , God bless us all.. because, all we can do, is the best we can do and that's all we can do. Some people saw the geese and recongised them as a loving, spiriitual sign and some did not. Some people picked up their trash, because they thougnt it was the right thing to do and some did not think about the trash they left behind, for others to pick up..... what ever.... we all do the best we can do.
@soulure , THELDSLIFE was quoting the song, but blesses the entire world and I answer for THELDSLIFE, because I have no doubt that THELSDIFE desires to serve The Great Creator.
For me, nature is god, so are the geese. So it was really a god-like experience. Man I'd wished to be there underneath the geese, flying overhead! :)

Geese flying in a "V"...It's a miracle!
Truly pathetic.
MrFungus420 8 months ago
@MrFungus420 It's not pathetic. The timing is the miracle, not the V-Shape.
shairaptor 3 weeks ago
@shairaptor Seeing that the reflecting pond is a regular stop-off point for migrating geese, there is no miracle about them being there.
The geese were in a place where they are expected to be, flying how they normally fly.
It's pathetic to try to label such a commonplace occurrence as a "miracle".

@THELDSLIFE Okies :-)

TheDrunkenHer0 1 year ago
@TheDrunkenHer0 - and some people no longer believe in miracles...
THELDSLIFE 1 year ago
@THELDSLIFE ..All rational and reasonable humans question ''miracles'', specially when it has to do with aerodynamics, wingtip vortices and long migratory routes...
TheDrunkenHer0 1 year ago
@TheDrunkenHer0 - Indeed... as these particular birds flew "South" for the winter, it would be customary for them to take a complete detour heading "Straight West" towards the Lincoln Memorial to then headed "North" once again. They must have left something behind at the rest area and had to go back... or there must have been something wrong with the leader of the flock on that day... he doesn't know his South's from his Norths.
It's not like Animals are special... they're just animals.
THELDSLIFE 1 year ago
@THELDSLIFE ...Evolution has allowed flocks to understand that traveling in V-formations allow them to travel longer distances north, south, east or west...
P.S. All living breathing creatures are special to me...Specially those that have managed to survive millions and millions of years of evolution...
TheDrunkenHer0 1 year ago
@TheDrunkenHer0 - There is room for God's creation as it deals with the "Time-Tables" of eternity. I am the first to admit that this world took millions of years to be prepared for human existence... an existence which would give the children of God the most advantage and chances for learning. Do I think that Genesis is literal? Not in all cases or in all things. Is mankind the creation of God and amongst the more intelligent creatures in all of creation? Absolutely.
THELDSLIFE 1 year ago
@THELDSLIFE Geese don't have GPS systems and they don't have that part of the brain that would allow them to create one..
So through trial and error, and going in the wrong direction, they learn that they have to depend on each other when traveling in flocks...
Thats why birds have to depend on the upwash caused by wingtip vortices when they fly in V-formations...

These geese were following a hot air thermal. Hand of God indeed!!
megagoosepoo 1 year ago
@megagoosepoo - I suppose it won't make any sense to the faithless and the godless among us. Even if they chalk it up to "positive, hopeful thinking" it was STILL a manifestation of the Universe. Even if someone has that sort of idealism based on we live on an earth in a sea of energy, it's quite possible that the will of that people could have caused the miracle. Men have attracted even STRANGER things into their existence based on their own imagination and power of thought.
THELDSLIFE 1 year ago
While it's easy for Tea Partiers to chalk this up to divine intervention, or God acknowledging us as a "Christian Nation", remember that many of our founding fathers were themselves Deists or influenced by Deism, a philosophy that believes in a divine creator but rejects the notion that God would interfere in the affairs of man. God didn't make politics, we did. God doesn't care about political rallies. Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and John Adams would tell you the same thing.
Leaderspdx 1 year ago
Well, given that geese fly in a V formation quite often around this time of year, I'm going to go with coincidence over divine intervention. I mean, are American's really so self-obsessed that they think that the creator and master of the universe gives a damn about their politics?

It's understandable that people have trouble wrapping their head around God, and Jesus. But it's equally troubling to believe the theory of humans swimming up onto land, evolving into apes eventually becoming man given the fact that we have dinosaurs fossils/prints dating back 240 million years, some of which we unknowingly walk within close proximity to every day, yet haven't been able to successfully link the evidence of mans theories of evolution, which took place far closer to now than then
4336time 1 year ago 3
@4336time - hey... a bazillion years of uncertainty is the best way to prove "Evolution!" don't we all know this? Heck, they don't call these facts a theory for nothin'! Whether Moses' words are 4000 years old or not, men have come up with stellar reasoning for the creation of this world, mankind, and the universe! Heck, until about 10 years ago, we didn't even know that we live in a sea of Galaxies that seem to go on without end...but who are we kidding. Science is easier to have faith in, eh?

deblew1 1 year ago 3
@deblew1 - God has provided many signs and communicated many things because of animals. It was the "Quail" that saved Ancient Israel, the Sign of the Dove came when Jesus was baptized. There are some biblical scholars who feel that we at ONE point had the ability to communicate with animals. Well, if folks are a BIBLE believing people, there was this ONE time that a donkey spoke out loud to a human. I'm sure that the faithless and godless among us will be less astonished with signs like this.

This land you whites call your country was based on lies & theft. Where is the honor in that? And have you maintained the country in the condition in which you found it? Search your heart.

@SuperDutyDieselMark ...I think this was wonderful, but I have to disagree with you on 1 point. It's not that God thinks 87% majority is correct - its that 87% majority think God is correct and we are in agreement with His leadership and guidance for this country.

this is what makes Jon Stewart the most trusted news man...
TheDrunkenHer0 1 year ago
@TheDrunkenHer0 - So Jon Stewart, because he doesn't proclaim himself as a comedian on the "Comedy Channel" this makes him a news man? He has writers. They write a script and he just reads the script. He's an actor; plain and simple. The Steve Colbert report, which follows his show usually, is also a comedy routine. Would some suggest that he is the "Smartest News Reporter" for the conservative media based on the same reasoning? (rofl...)
Sometimes I just watch those shows for a good laugh.
THELDSLIFE 1 year ago
@THELDSLIFE ...Its like Jesse Ventura said to Shannity,,,'You really wanted to talk about Anna Nicole Smith for a whole week.?' to which Shannity was left silent.
Fox ''news'' is just a right-wing propaganda machine and the higher ups are giving them their talking points.(scripts)
The Daily Show is a mock news comedy show, which just happens to catch the lies, distortions and manipulations of ''News'' networks, in a comedic way, this is why they need writers, to be funny.
Jon Stewart FTW
TheDrunkenHer0 1 year ago
@TheDrunkenHer0 - Stewart is a tool... just an actor that got lucky and now he has a platform, of sorts, to show everyone who he really is. Sometimes I give him his script writers too much credit when I say, "He's just an actor reading from a script." but in reality, that's what he does. He's earning money as an entertainer playing on the heart strings of those who fill his bank accounts because he has a niche. How much of his own words he actually believes? Who can really know?
THELDSLIFE 1 year ago
@THELDSLIFE ..Stewarts show is a mock news comedy show, not a fixed ''news'' propaganda machine like Fox...
If you say dumb shit or act a fool, Stewart is going to make fun of you..simple..The writers just make it funny and continuous..
faux''news'' host are just cold blooded shills ...glenn beck and shannity don't even have an education for gods sake...
If it wasn't for the ignorance, stupidity and extreme nonsense that comes out of Faux''news'', Stewart wouldn't be as famous as he is...

@THELDSLIFE Ummm...had you ever been to Washington? That is where birds hang out--and shit. It's natural, bird formation. God isn't what our country needs--we need brains.
Jitters10 1 year ago
@TheDrunkenHer0 First of all, Jon Stewart would have spelled it correctly--sandwiches; you're thinking of Christine O'Donnell (you know, the 4,000 year old politician who doesn't know The Constitution and migrated here from the Black Forest of Germany?) Secondly, this is a bird formation. I can assure you that if, like me, you live any substantial portion of your life away from FOX, you would know that birds, in fact, fly like this (science, huh?) (SEE NEXT COMMENT)
Jitters10 1 year ago

THELDSLIFE 1 year ago 3
@THELDSLIFE Birds flying over a body of water - wow, what a miracle. I will agree that birds, humanity, and nature in general are all "miracles". But, thinking that the birds flew over specifically to bless all the good Christian people there - that's just ego. I would be willing to bet that happens on a daily basis there. Why do you have to take something beautiful and turn it into an egotistical justification for your religion? If a giant fireball fell from the sky, would that be a sign too?
reallybigname 1 year ago
@reallybigname - why not? the Holy Ghost descended upon Jesus with the "Sign of the Dove..." ... again... to the faithless it would be hard to describe. Fireball? That depends on what end of faith someone exhibits or the "lack thereof." The faithful will be led to places of safety while the world and all that in it is will "burn as a oven." But you have nothing to fear if all of the prophecies and promises were just idle threats made by crazy old men long ago.
THELDSLIFE 1 year ago
@THELDSLIFE You think that I don't understand the feeling evoked by beauty? I just don't project anything else onto it like many Christians do. They are birds. They fly over water. They are beautiful, and we are lucky.

@reallybigname... and yet, there was no physical trash, or garbage, left behind.
The grounds were well cared for. That was a manifestation of the spirit of this event.... the spirit of these people. Compare that with the tons of trash and debris, left behind after the inauguration and you will see the difference, in attitude.
cowgirlmoon 1 year ago
@cowgirlmoon So, the lack of trash after the event was a sign from God also? Wow, there are signs everywhere! Thank the Lord! As for your trash comparison to Obama's inauguration... maybe it had something to do with there being at least ten times the number of people at Obama's inauguration? Multiple sources concluded that the inauguration ceremony had the largest audience of an event ever held in Washington, D.C. at around >1.8 MILLION<. Glenn beck had approx. 87,000. Do the math.
reallybigname 1 year ago
@reallybigname By the way, 87,000 is a lot of people! I'm not sure why Fox keeps trying to inflate the numbers to over a million! Maybe 100,000... but a million? C'mon!

@reallybigname - if only about 8-10% were actually able to attend this event, it wouldn't discount the hundreds of thousands of others who could not be present. Disrespectful and disgraceful.
alansomewhere 1 year ago
@alansomewhere Have you really reduced this conversation to how good the Christian right wing is at picking up trash? Because, if its true, you can put on an orange jumpsuit and start collecting trash whenever you feel like it!
reallybigname 1 year ago
@reallybigname - the difference is one group of people do so by choice and the others do so because they are compelled to do so. But we're not comparing against those two folks... we're comparing them to those who attended the inauguration of our latest president... who didn't feel like they had to pick up after themselves at all. They just left a mess because they knew that someone else would take care of it. And yes, I'm talking about "The Obama Crowd."

THELDSLIFE 1 year ago
@THELDSLIFE No, you didn't direct anything rude or boorish towards me individually. However, you attacked ALL liberals for being dirty, disrespectful, and disgraceful! What about your verbal trash? You gonna pick that up?
Also, in reality, trash isn't what's killing the environment. Right wing environmental policies have done the most damage to our ecosystem - not some wrappers at a location guaranteed to be cleaned by someone. Hello! Picking those up doesn't count as environmentalism!
reallybigname 1 year ago
@reallybigname - that all depends on how you interpret what has been prophesied of old. We are either going to survive a "Total" cleansing of the earth by fire or we're not. Those religious nuts in the Old Testament think we will; including Peter, the Apostle, and they're all in agreement. This world will be 'bathed in fire.' Don't get me wrong... I reduce what I call "driving around town" and do things on my own to improve our quality of air... but I also await resolve when the Lord returns.

@THELDSLIFE "There aint now doubt... I love this land. God bless the U.S.A!"
I'm sincerely curious, if you do believe in a God, why don't you say, "God bless the world" or were you quoting the song?

@soulure , THELDSLIFE was quoting the song, but blesses the entire world and I answer for THELDSLIFE, because I have no doubt that THELSDIFE desires to serve The Great Creator.
