Great, thanks. As a new Pixelmator-er (I just bought it two days ago), I found that if you switch to the move tool after filling the shadow with black, then you can use the arrow keys to move the shadow down an exact number of pixels (say two down and three across).
The only shame about this, is that Pixelmator hasn't included a 'drop shadow' feature like in photoshop.
I LOVE Pixelmator, and use it mostly over photoshop, but I just wish they had included a simple one-click button to create this effect rather than having to go an extra 4 steps. Same with an outer/inner glow effect.
@YourPhilOfCanada I completely agree with you! I believe they will be updating Pixelmator to include these features as their forums have lots of requests for this. BTW, these one-click buttons are really called layer styles.
I like your videos, but I can't help to ask why you use the Exclamation point (!) so much on your channel, in your videos and on comments. =/
