@seerusgod Sorry to comment on an old video, but why didn't you just use the same buffer zone and undisturb zone as the corner orienting step? Mirror algorithms could be used so that the zones could be the same for the whole corner process. This would be helpful for people that are new to blindsolving because they would not have to memorize both zones. Just a thought. Great video btw
@VonPawn The reason for this is because of the fact that the mirror algorithms are, in my opinion, not as fluent and harder to do. By changing the zones that people work with, it ultimately makes the solving easier for myself. Then again, others may have other preferences, this is just how I teach.
For corners I prefer old pochman, Because you permute one corner per time, with enough practice (I haven't had enough practice yet) you can solve all corners in the same time it takes to just orient them in this method. It just takes a little more thought on the setup moves the first few times you try it.
I'll go to the edges and see if that's more efficient
u r awesome ma awesome!!! i cud solve the cube with eyes open in 1 min, but now i m getting this tutorial, u really helped me, now i can solve it till this step blidfolded :)
Do you think that blindsolving involves taking a randomly scrambled cube and solving it without ever looking at it first? That would be impossible. You obviously don't know much about cubing.
oooooooooo big bad wolf mad up his own word faggish and if u see comment sais 1 month ago mabye i saw it bye now like say 2 mins after i maid the comment and moved on well u on this video now leads me to beleve ur just learning yesterday (faggish making up words to describe urself lol) as of now i dont give a shit about ur comments
just a little tip for everyone, this is how i got used to the the algurithums, solve the cube and do them over and over, if the cube goes back to its finished form after a few time u did it right and your fingers get used to it
@paintballchamp100 Another great way to do it is to solve a cube using only blindsolve algorithms. For example, after you learn all the algorithms of course, use the blindsolve algorithms to solve the cube while your'e looking. That's how I memorized full PLL, I scrambled and solved a cube using only T perm, then only using Y perm, then M perm, etc.
huh? u say 1 is opposite 5, 2 is opposite 6, and so on..but when u turn the cube around, u say 5678 rite..when u say dat, 5 will be opposite of 3.. and 6 willl be opposite of 4

I still don't see how this teaches you to memorize the cube. Okay, so you tell us how to memorize which corners and edges need to be flipped. But how do you memorize what corner it actually is? Not very helpful

what do u mean by cheating?
ironman2241 4 years ago
I meant that you need to be able to solve a rubik's cube without any help, just your own knowledge.
seerusgod 4 years ago
Taking the cube apart and putting back together without actually solving is cheating.
