  • right, a dyno pull is the same thing as a dyno run. basically acclerating the vehicle under load in the trans gear that is closest to 1 to 1 and from approx 2000 rpm all the way up until the hp peaks and "rolls over". records the hp and torque curves, mph, rpm, ambient temp, air/fuel ratio and vacuum or boost levels.

  • this might be a stupid ass question, but dyno pull is the same thing as dyno run right? jus wanna make sure if there is no difference in like the readings or sumthin

  • @296jayce

    Absolute same thing ;)

  • @296jayce

    Absolute same thing ;)

  • 12.5 to 1 compression, boss 302 heads, adjustable rocker arms, screw-in studs and guide plates, aggressive solid lifter cam, Holley 830 cfm 4-bbl.

  • what has been done to the 302? I think that boss has the same 4v heads I have on my 351?

  • RPM? :D

  • @Dennisjonsson81

455 rear wheel hp at 7009 rpm.

  • @JbaSpeed Thats about what the 303ci destroked 340 Mopars made if I remember correctly. What all are you allowed to do to the car to compete in Historic Trans Am class?

  • The wheels are magnesium and were made by American Racing Wheels in 1970. A good metal worker can duplicate the wheel well flares which were typical for Mustang Trans Am cars circa 1970. JBA can do wheel wells like this if you're interested (and the car can hang out in San Diego for awhile).

  • does anyone know who flared the fenders!!??? this car is perfect

  • does anyone know the rim/wheel manufacturer?????!!!!!

  • Stunning car! I'd sure love to see a bunch more of it. Looks to be a very high quality build. Love the grabber green genie Boss racer appearance too.

  • Wait Trans Am Mustang? WTF?

  • @TechWizard28

Trans Am racing was a series for Pony Car sanctioned by the SCCA. Pontiac/GM paid a licensing fee to SCCA for each Trans Am produced.

  • @Krashdavus thanks, we learn something every day

  • @TechWizard28 Trans Am was a racing series in the 60s/70s. Maybe some other years aswell, but there you have it.

  • JUST WOW !
