Great song...I bought this LP record for 30 dllrs at Rare LP records store in Hollywood...Great Music by the MASTER ISAAC HAYES.....RIP...Thank you for uploading this great song VNISIC.....This song to my opinion was the founder of DISCO MUSIC.....!
@mayangod1isback I was a lot younger when I first saw this song, and I instantly fell in love with it. I had it recorded from satellite, just hanging around my hard drive for years, and decided to put it on. this music video adds a lot of charm to an already awesome song. :)
@vniksic.....I was hoping that Isaac Hayes would sign my LP record but he left to heaven last year. I almost got a hold of him to get the LP record signed by him. Now my LP record is one of my jewels of LP record collection. Thanks for your friendship, are we friends yet? if not, here I come to your channel and become friends. Peace and Love to you and your love ones!
@vniksic.....I got this LP record for Isaac Hayes to get it autographed by him but he left to heaven first. Now my LP record is part of the Disco/Disco High Energy Collection that I own.... One of my jewels. Thanks for the video. Your new friend JORGE AKA MAYANGOD1ISBACK
This is probably, I believe, one of the disco instrumentals I grew up in the 1970s. I did not even know of this title. I can remember watching the Chicago Cubs on WGN-TV, and WGN-TV had a 1-minute or 3-minute promo on the 1976 or 1977 to mark the Chicago Cubs opening season with this disco/funk/soul number. The memorable part was not the famous bass line riff that repeated but oh, those violins & the Memphis Horn section. The song introduced the "soul-clap" for the first time ever!!!
First time seeing this one but I do remember this joint from the late GREAT Issac Hayes wow 1975 I was 12 yrs old He was with STAX Records in Memphis and he
made his "Hot Buttered Soul" album crazy hot classic and vintage joint he was and still is the man right along with Quincy Jones
@mayangod1isback...WOW, This song sounds sooooo gooood like if it was 1975. I remember that year. Disco music was alive and everybody was having a good time. This song remains me my brother Luis that got the 45 LP record. Man, I have always wondered what happened to the record?
