  • Awesome, Have owned and loved this since it came out in the 70,s.

  • My favorite song ! Good dancing music !!

  • He's so good looking! And his songs are so a unique, a genius! Someone I know ate at a restaurant in San Francisco and he was sitting at another table with his wife and they thought he was so intruiging!

  • I have this album and "Moments". Love the music and of course Boz.

  • One of the best albums ever IMHO. Every track was awesome !

  • my opinion is this album was much better than silk this album was great

  • Hey,, could you post "Monkeytime"........ chronicles Boz's struggle with heroin addiction?

  • Just an FYI.... Flames of Love begins at @ 2:35............. great song.. really shows how tight this band was! Especially the break at 5:00..............

  • This is a classic ...one of those special times.

  • Man this song brings back such memories...it is hard to think that things will never be what they were...

  • On the other hand this song only has one great song .. good song maybe .. this one. I listened a couple of times but this is no Moments or the record with I'll be long gone.

  • I like Moments a lot better but Here to Stay is a great song.

  • thanks 4 this. i had the 12" but i guess i lent it 2 sum1 and never got it back. Here To Stay is also my fave.

  • Here to stay is just a wonderful song by Boz . If you like it try to find some songs from Boz' best record ever - who needs the commercial Silk Degrees when you have "Moments" - one of the most neglected records ever. Great song after great song. His first record with I'll be long gone and Loan Me A Dime is uneven both worth a try.

  • And who said rita Rita Coolidge wasnt funky enough eh!!!!!

  • I wish I could buy this album.

  • yes..I have this LP..it's great. Saw him in '72 when he had a great conga player! Just saw him again last year...still has it!!

  • Thanks Jwing x 2

  • Saw Boz in '71. he opened for his old school chum and bandmate: Steve Miller. Boz was so big 6 years or so later that the roles were reversed.

Is that Dwight Shrute, far left?

  • "Here to Stay" is a great song, but why does it fade out so soon?

  • Only seven minutes? Boz, I thought you had better stamina. ;)

  • The first Boz album I bought was Silk Degrees so I am unfamiliar with his previous albums. I thought I'd give this a listen and was very impressed.

  • jeez, I hope you can get the rest of this album on here, I bought this album new in '71, knew him from Steve Miller band, this album was so good, even more back then, with else we had to listen to then. Unfortunately it was stolen, and I never really thought about it again until tonight, don't even know why it popped, just did..

  • This album has an uplifting feeling about it,perfect for a romanctic evening

  • The very best!!!!!!!

  • JWW, Any luck with getting the rest of Boz Scaggs and Band added to this site?

  • I love this album. I listened to it everyday from about the day I got it my junior year of college until I graduated and I haven't had a phonograph since. Side 2 is probably the single greatest side to an album since the two sided album format:^) If you can post "So Good" that would be huge.

  • I just found the name of "Flames Of Love" today. It's one of those songs you heard but couldn't remember the name. Wouldn't want to sent it to me :)

  • I have this album...it's one of my all time favorites. He's amazing. Thanks for posting this!

  • You could imagine Marvin Gaye singing "Here to stay".

  • Yea, i got this album around 1982, and i still think it is great. It explores areas of music that aren't found in Silk Degrees, and contains some great blues songs and ballads too.

  • In response to the first comment.. This album came out before Silk Degrees. Boz wasn't really a pop star at this time. Silk degrees was a huge success. But if you like good soul this album rocks.. Thanks for your comment!

  • I owned this album age 14 in 1977. I bought it on the strength of "Silk degrees" that i bought the previous year. At the time i wasnt impressed, subconsciously comparing it to that huge hit album. But recently i dug it out and had another listen. I was so wrong! What a great album!
