If you look back at disney games, most were on SNES and Sega platforms...so my guess was after KH took in such a huge fan base aka made money, nintendo wanted in. Lets face it...you'll get a 3DS or steal your buddy's just to play the game if you are really into KH
i have a hard time believing that a true KH3 would be released on a platform thats mobile. leads me to conclude KH3D is just another inbetweener game that thickens the lore of KH but wont be a continuation of the main storyline. correct me if im wrong since ive only begun reading up on KH3D, it looks like we wont be seeing team sora meeting team ven anytime soon.

But in all seriousness you shouldn't let it bother you too much. Yes, this game WILL have tons of info needed to make sense of KH 3 but the same can be said for CoM for KH 2 and look what happened. This will probably also be ported so just have patience. If you can't wait then either borrow a ds, read up the info, or wait until a playthrough appears. Bitching won't do anything.

Don't know why people are complaining. It's main storyline game that takes place right after KH2 and Coded. It doesn't matter that it's not on a console. Sure it's sad, but be happy they aren't dropping the series. That'd be worse.
@TurkishHegemony Never had a decent game? It has everything PS3 has minus the exclusives, and the only good exclusive PS3 has is Uncharted. Idk if you've been living under a rock or perhaps under Sony's corporate office but Square has been putting their new Final Fantasies on the 360. And they have no intent on changing that. BTW, at least my online is better. I only know two people who have a PS3. Oh, and I can talk to my friend even if they aren't playing the same game.
@7Jubal7 Maybe you ought to do a better research becoz PS3 has the most and best exclusives other then Uncharted. Final Fantasy doesnt sell on the 360, FF13-2 on PS3 outsold the 360 version 5 to 1. PS3 online is doing everything I want, for free. No PS3 and no PC gamer will ever buy online playtime, thats just what greedy Microsoft only does. You should get out of Microsofts basement and explore this huge world.

The one thing that pisses me off about Kingdom Hearts, is why do they keep jumping systems. And it's like all the ones that have important side information are on Nintendo consoles; then all the main story is on Sony. I don't want to buy a 3DS just for this, but they do this dumb crap. @Gogeta504 This is a main title. Not a numbered one, but it has huge relevance to the story. Square is starting to realize Nintendo's importance in the video game industry, and KH3 will be on the Wii U, along with PS3 and 360. It will look better on the Wii U

@Shininku Well, I won't lie about the PS3 being better than the Wii...but the Handheld market is a different story. he only major plus I'd see the Vita haing over 3DS is its ability to play PS3 games. However, we already know the 3DS can handle graphics of slightly-less quality, so that doesn't really bother me.
Plus, if companies DIDN'T do that, I'd have missed out on things I couldn't afford until now, such as Monster Hunter and DMC (I have my own PC thanks to unexpected birthday rewards :D)
@Shininku They do it because if they tried to develop all the titles on the consoles, we would be waiting a-whole-nother decade for Birth by Sleep, and just now be getting KH2
Game development takes years to do on a console. Hell we had to wait 4 years for them to get us KH2 on the same system. Imagine if that was chain of memories instead. Production for the hand-helds is faster and the return profit is higher, which helps cover the cost console development, and it tides people over.
@Rikuo86 I'm not saying they have to put them all on consoles, but I mean, seriously, it's been on like 5 different systems. PS2 (x2), PSP, GBA, DS, 3DS. And I'm sure it'll probably be another 2 more systems before KH3 truly releases. That means that anyone who truly wants to hear the full story, either has to miss out, or buy 5 different systems. And I don't think it's that bad of a development, otherwise wouldn't be a new CoD every freaking year, like that much really changes with it lol.

@Shininku Yeah I get what you mean. I probably would have skipped out on Birth By Sleep if it wasn't for the PSP's ever growing library of RPG's and the like. Although I will say that it would be a lot better if they stuck to one handheld or another for these games especially since everyone's kinda hurting for cash these days. But that's not the developer's fault, so much is their management. A lot of SE's business moves (and problems) can be explained by executive meddling.

@BuukuStudios It's far from the end. If you go to the website Nomura said that KH 3 will be the end of the "Xehanort Saga". He said the main characters would be the same, but a new saga will emerge. The Series is not over yet and if Nomura wanted to end it im pretty sure his fans would give him pure hell until he started it again!!
@Eellaup The 3DS has a circle pad, so the camera should be the only hard part. The Circle Pad Pro is compatible with this game, which gives it as much controls as the PS2 games. In a way, the 3D effect makes the screen feel bigger to me.

Okay, Everyone listen. When a person's Heartless and Nobody are destroyed, they return to Kingdom Hearts and become whole again, turning back into a person. This is how Master Xehanort is coming back to life in the final game, because both Xemnas and Xehanort's Heartless (fake Ansem) were defeated by Sora. This was stated by Yen Sid in the secret ending of Re: Coded. This is also the reason why Lea (Axel) is here. Axel(The Nobody) was destroyed, and so must have been his heartless.

I just noticed this but all the members of the org. XIII were just jumbled and "x" had just been added to their names. like for an example, Lea turned to Axle, and Sora turned to Roxas

Idk if you've been living under a rock or perhaps under Sony's corporate office but Square has been putting their new Final Fantasies on the 360. And they have no intent on changing that. BTW, at least my online is better. I only know two people who have a PS3. Oh, and I can talk to my friend even if they aren't playing the same game.

@7Jubal7 Maybe you ought to do a better research becoz PS3 has the most and best exclusives other then Uncharted. Final Fantasy doesnt sell on the 360, FF13-2 on PS3 outsold the 360 version 5 to 1. PS3 online is doing everything I want, for free. No PS3 and no PC gamer will ever buy online playtime, thats just what greedy Microsoft only does. You should get out of Microsofts basement and explore this huge world.

@TurkishHegemony Microsoft's basement? Ha. Ill admit the PS2 was the greatest system invented. And I was gonna get a PS3 until I realized no one has one. Or at least not where I live. And none of the PS3 exclusives look that fun to me. But I guess to each their own. Personally I play my 3DS more than my 360.
Oh, and PS3 selling more doesn't mean Square is gonna pull out of Microsoft completely. Square is well aware of the fact that the Vita flopped in Japan.

The one thing that pisses me off about Kingdom Hearts, is why do they keep jumping systems. And it's like all the ones that have important side information are on Nintendo consoles; then all the main story is on Sony. I don't want to buy a 3DS just for this, but they do this dumb crap. Playstations better than the Nintendo stuff; just cause it was first doesn't mean they gotta keep doing stuff for it. /rant

@Gogeta504 This is a main title. Not a numbered one, but it has huge relevance to the story. Square is starting to realize Nintendo's importance in the video game industry, and KH3 will be on the Wii U, along with PS3 and 360. It will look better on the Wii U

@7Jubal7 umm I never saw KH game on the 360 lol so I wouldn't say about the 360 but they might put it on wii U or Ps3 and I never saw Tatsuma Nomura make a multiplat game. so I'm happy that 3DS is getting a KH game and plus I remember back in 2004 they made one for GBA and it was a tie in for KH2 which was for Ps2 so.. if this is for 3DS and it is a tie in to KH3 so... @Shininku Well, I won't lie about the PS3 being better than the Wii...but the Handheld market is a different story. he only major plus I'd see the Vita haing over 3DS is its ability to play PS3 games. However, we already know the 3DS can handle graphics of slightly-less quality, so that doesn't really bother me.
Plus, if companies DIDN'T do that, I'd have missed out on things I couldn't afford until now, such as Monster Hunter and DMC (I have my own PC thanks to unexpected birthday rewards :D)

@Shininku They do it because if they tried to develop all the titles on the consoles, we would be waiting a-whole-nother decade for Birth by Sleep, and just now be getting KH2
Game development takes years to do on a console. Hell we had to wait 4 years for them to get us KH2 on the same system. Imagine if that was chain of memories instead. Production for the hand-helds is faster and the return profit is higher, which helps cover the cost console development, and it tides people over.

@Rikuo86 I'm not saying they have to put them all on consoles, but I mean, seriously, it's been on like 5 different systems. PS2 (x2), PSP, GBA, DS, 3DS. And I'm sure it'll probably be another 2 more systems before KH3 truly releases. That means that anyone who truly wants to hear the full story, either has to miss out, or buy 5 different systems. And I don't think it's that bad of a development, otherwise wouldn't be a new CoD every freaking year, like that much really changes with it lol.

@Shininku Yeah I get what you mean. I probably would have skipped out on Birth By Sleep if it wasn't for the PSP's ever growing library of RPG's and the like. Although I will say that it would be a lot better if they stuck to one handheld or another for these games especially since everyone's kinda hurting for cash these days. But that's not the developer's fault, so much is their management. A lot of SE's business moves (and problems) can be explained by executive meddling.

@BuukuStudios It's far from the end. If you go to the website Nomura said that KH 3 will be the end of the "Xehanort Saga". He said the main characters would be the same, but a new saga will emerge. The Series is not over yet and if Nomura wanted to end it im pretty sure his fans would give him pure hell until he started it again!!

@Eellaup The 3DS has a circle pad, so the camera should be the only hard part. The Circle Pad Pro is compatible with this game, which gives it as much controls as the PS2 games. In a way, the 3D effect makes the screen feel bigger to me.

Okay, Everyone listen. When a person's Heartless and Nobody are destroyed, they return to Kingdom Hearts and become whole again, turning back into a person. This is how Master Xehanort is coming back to life in the final game, because both Xemnas and Xehanort's Heartless (fake Ansem) were defeated by Sora. This was stated by Yen Sid in the secret ending of Re: Coded. This is also the reason why Lea (Axel) is here. Axel(The Nobody) was destroyed, and so must have been his heartless.

@IllusionaryShadow splitting apart but leaving the actuall body) axel is the nobody in the organization and his heartess dies, if you played kh2 you saw axel's nobody dies. You learn in this game coming out that since the nobody and the hearless died,(actually when you kill a heartless it gets freed from teh keyblade going back to kingdom hearts). Since both were freed they re-joined and the person is human once again, lea! if i didnt make sence just let me know and il re-write this so u can
