Jonathan Frakes stated, "I think we took greater chances then than we do now. The shows may be better, the level of it, but "Skin of Evil" was absurd. We had Patrick sitting and talking into a black oil slick– but what was wrong with that? I suffered physically like a fool with Mikey– sure, I'll get in that black fucking Metamucil shit. That was absurd."
If I ever die I want to go out like Tasha Yar did.
I was a victim of a hit and run whilst visiting Scotland seven years ago. Nobody stopped for me, and I was on death's door even though I cried out for help.
@LoneRookRS1 This, unfortunately, is about ten years before Voyager's crew met 7 of 9, and even then, it still took Voyager another four years to get home.
This episode has everything, for good star trek viewing, i first saw this episode in the early 90s, and i will never forget Armus, favourite episode still !!!
I wonder how Armus entertains himself when alone. He has been alone so long I would think he'd be happy to have company.

Armus was all the hate and evil absorbed from the prisoners on that planet. He deserved to be left behind.

@trsdos I'm pretty sure that's a scrape on her face from one of the rocks she landed on.

@trsdos That's the spot where Armus hit and killed her.

That was a ridiculous way for one of the main characters to die.
So meaningless.
Not even some sort of battle.

@Ignozi Good shock factor, though. I think some of the most effective deaths are the ones that happen fast and suddenly.

I hate this episode. A ridiculous villain and the death of a major character in what is later stated as "an empty death, without purpose".
Understatement of the DECADE!!!

I must say, this is my favorite Star Trek villian in the entire series!
