  • 32 bit can only support about 3gb or memory. You will have to install a 64 bit OS to let it reconize the 8gb RAM.

  • i have compaq cq40 AMD 32bit it sopoprts 8gb of memory but only 2 dimms what do i have to do to upgrade to 64bit so it can reconize 8gb
