I liked the bionic lapdock because it was super skinny. Im not sure if I want the 100 since the screen is 10 inches.. I may end up getting this one. I wish the bionic lapdock was compatible with the razor.

I went to a Verizon store and was able to compare the 100 and 500 side by side. From front to back because all of the "junk in the trunk" on the 100, the 500 is actually only about in inch longer from front to rear. About 3 inches bigger from left to right. I wish the 100 was the exact same design as the 500, just smaller.

Amazon listed the dimensions and based on what I saw there, the overall size is about the same on the Lapdock 100 and 500 even though one has an 11" screen and the other has a 14" screen. Is that true? Is it because all the extra material at the backside of the 100?

I'm using my sisters lapdock 500. I have the Bionic, she has the Razr. My friend has the Photon. He bought the 500 and informed me that the front facing camera doesn't work with the Photon, nor does the vga out and volume control. I'm not sure if the vga works with the Bionic, but the front camera doesn't work with it. The volume works just fine though. I was informed that a software update is coming to take care of this. I opted for the webtop accessories with the smart controller, which I love

Thanks, you answered my question about whether the connected phone draws power from the lapdock, nice to know! Sounds like this one is a winner! I'm glad that I wound up having to buy the Droid RAZR rather than waiting for the new G. Nexus, it's very versatile! (though I do prefer stock Android)
