Solder is basicaly metal you heat up and use like he did in the video, it was the thin wire he was using. And my question is can you have the wireless turned on to see if you put them in right or not?

you would have to keep the back part of the shell on your controller in order to be able to put a battery pack in to test it.It wouldn't be a problem though :)

i just installed white LEDs onto my controller today. Let me tell you what, its a tough task but it's the biggest sign of relief when your done and all the LEDs are flashing. It took about hour and half but was totally worth it. Thanks for this very instructional video.

Hey I just put some of your blue LEDs on a wireless controller, but when I use a rechargable battery pack they are really dim. AA batteries look fine and so does the rechargables when it's plugged in. Is the rechargable pack too low of voltage for these LEDs? Did I do something wrong?
