To get the Mascot dressphere the only problem is, is that I always find Lyan and Aide in the Calm Lands not in the Thunder Plaines

You find Lyan and Aide in the Calm Lands then in the Thunder Plains. Thats what it did for me anyways. After that I always just send them to the Moonflow to talk to Tobli ~

You get Key To Success in Guadosalam in Chapter 5 in Tobli's Office.  You have to complete ALL moonflow missions in the game perfectly - but do not complete the Gagazet mission in Chapter 3 and do not defeat Garik Ronso.

Just have rikku max out alchemist or just mega potion and add the alchemist abilities of doubling the power of items and have yuna and pain just go dark knight and darkness everything to death with strength mods. Kinda cheesy but it'll help. Just take every floor one step at a time and its easy.

You beat the game once, let the credits run all the way, and let it restart on it's own. With Plus, you still have all the gil, items, and dresspheres as before, too.

Yes. This, what you're seeing right now, is a new game plus. Notice that I have all the dress spheres? As well as the equipments.

What do you mean how? After you complete the game, chapter 5, wait til the very ending. It'll ask you if you want to save or not. Say yes. Then in the menu screen, select New Game Plus. Want me to make vid for you?

You get mascot by following the whole Mascot Speed Series. Lady Luck is from defeating Shinra in Chapter 3 or 5 at Sphere Break. Dark Knight is from going into Bevelle and doing the puzzle before fighting Baralie/Bahamut. Remember the path you took where Baralie shows up? There's a chest on the left side. Go get it.

hey i missed a few side missons on chapter one that you're doing. so do i have to start all over to get the mascots? also if you get mascots, do you keep em forever?

Yes, you'll need to start over.

You get to keep one copy of them, like all other DS

Not all sidequests. All into a hotspot and get Episode Complete.

As long as it doesn't effect you from getting any hotspot in chapter 5, then it's fine.

Some places have more than 1 hotspot. So if you do start one, be prepare to be able to finish it. Like in Calm Lands, there's the agencies and Clasko. If you start the one for Clasko, be prepared to get it completed.

If you follow the whole series, you will get mascot in chapter 5. I don't know what you mean by quicker. As for KtS, don't stop the Ronso from killing Guado, help Tobli twice, then get it from Tobli's room.

No, you're getting it wrong. New Game Plus is when you restart the game from the beginning, but everything (except for level) carried over. That's why I can have like 6 or more Gunner DressSpheres. You don't buy the plus. Unless you're thinking of International + Last Mission.

You can only get one per runthrough. To sum it up, finish a majority of Tobli's quests, but don't save the Ronsos in Chapter 3. Then in Chapter 5, go to Guadosalam and look for Tobli's shop.
