@cokigo84 I think the problem Garbage ran into at the turn of the century was figuring out what to do next. They were trying to figure out what "scene" they fit into. The Pumpkins had broken up, and NIN was really unproductive as Trent was finally dealing with his personal problems.

Garbage was burned out at this point. Tired of touring, and tired of each other. You can tell how disconnected everyone is by how lacking most of the songs were.
