The fact is the Brad May picked on a guy whos never been in a fight. It was a cheapshot, and May is LUCKY he only got 3 games. May has a history of being a hitman...hes a disgrace.

What series were you watching. Oh, I forgot, Wild fans didnt watch games 1, 2, 3, and 5. They just prefer bitching about Brad May's righteous hit on Kim Johnsson. I not happy Johnsson got hurt but the punch was justified for Boogaard's runs at Niedermeyer, Kunitz, and Selanne in the 1st three games.

Minnesotan's are definitely fair weather fans. I grew up there, and had to watch the North Stars move to Dallas because the Met Center was only half full for most of their games. Even after they made an amazing run to the finals in 1991, the fans still never really supported them. All anyone seemed to care about was the GOPHERS.

I was there for the warmup scrum- what the cameras didn't see was boogard hit pronger from behind while they were skating near the line- perros saw what happened and charged boogard. Awesome game to be at. Ducks are kickin ass!!

I'm a Ducks fan as well...since they were an expansion team, but I fully agree....that was a cheap shot by May. I'm pretty certain you won't be seeing him in a Ducks jersey next season. The Ducks ownership certainly doesn't want the team to be seen as a bunch of cheapshot artists.
