Thanks for uploading this video. It's really cool to know there is still film of these old 90's hockey games when Lexington still had the thoroblades. I grew up on them. I was probably at this game. Rupp was perfect for hockey and they let the thoroblades go. That sucked. When I was really young I remember vein on the floor and I walked right up to the statue thing of lucky that the players ran out of in the beginning. I was too afraid to touch it. Haha. Anyways this is a neat video.
@RandomTstudios Yeah, I liked that Lucky statue, too. I thought Rupp was perfect for hockey, too. This was the arena where I made my regular season hockey announcing debut with over 20,000 in the stands. Rupp and the Thoroughblades will always be special to me.
@Sportbuff99TV So where do you announce sports now? I wonder what Rupp Arena did with all the hockey stuff from the T-blades. Like the ice and stuff. I still have pictures of me 4 or 5 years old sitting in the stands in front of the ice. I was and still am hockey obsessed. Its always been my favorite sport. When Lexington lost hockey so did I. Recently I have moved to Evansville, Indiana and they have a CHL Hockey team the Evansville IceMen. They remind me alot of the T-blades.
