  • @eclipton You're right abt that part but do they have to show you exactly what their expenses are? You have to ask yourself that if you owned a franchise, would u allow Amy employee on your payroll demand whatever they want? They are making millions from these owners. Meanwhile, the owners will still be millionaires without players. Maybe the lack of superstar would hurt but it's still football we've always loved. People just grow up n become greedy. DeMaurice smith is a greedy man.

  • I don't believe the lockout was all Goddell's fault. DeMaurice smith was getting greedy too. Football is not partnership. The owners are the bosses. Players are employees. When do employees make a suggestion to the owners for partnership..exactly!!

  • @Barima006 Perhaps, but you also have to consider that when someone says they're losing money and they're not willing to show proof that they're losing money, that should be a red flag that they're probably lying. It's like trying to get a conviction if you're not willing to show evidence as to why the defendant is guilty. The jury most likely won't believe the prosecution.

  • (cont.) before the Raiders knew their own plays. Jon Gruden knew how to prepare for a "Slug-o-Seam" where Rich Gannon pumped fakes the ball convincingly enough so that the free safety would bite on the pump fake. Jon Gruden prepared the Buccaneers for that play and they dominated that game. And that's the list. The top 10 painful losses will be up shortly, there were so many painful losses that it's really hard to pick the 10 worst painful losses.

  • @patsrule213 I know how hard it is for Top 10 Painful Losses. There are a lot of Painful Losses that could make that list. I'd like to see how NFL Network would do that list as well as Top 10 Biggest Mistakes.

  • (cont) receiving touchdown record. Number 4- Raiders sign Larry Brown and Desmond Howard. They were 2 Super Bowl mvp's who were horrible players when they went to the Raiders. number 3- Green Bay drafts Tony Mandarich, Number 2- The Chargers draft Ryan Leaf. And the number 1 mistake off all time- The Raiders trade away Jon Gruden. What clinched the number 1 spot was the fact that the Raiders lost Super Bowl 37 because they traded away Jon Gruden. It seemed like he knew the Raiders plays (cont.)

  • And it's time for the top 10 management mistakes. This will be a multiple comment list, number 10- The Vikings trade for Herschel Walker, number 9- Marty Schottenhiemer starts Elvis Grbec over Rich Gannon. Number 8- The Jets take Kyle Brady over Warren Sapp, Number 7- The Colts draft Art Schlicter, Number 6- Wade Phillps starts Rob Johnson over Doug Flutie, number 5- Oakland trades away Randy Moss for a 4th round draft pick. And guess what happened with Randy Moss, he broke the all time (cont)

  • You should make a documentary about Goodell and call it Roger and Me.

  • Nice list

  • I know that the Lockout is a bad thing for the NFL right now, but answer this question: is this lockout during the Regluar Season?

  • @EnigmaHedgehog If there's no CBA and if the appeal's court overturns Judge Nelson's ruling, then yes, the lockout can happen during the regular season. Like I said, I'm not holding my breath on a new CBA happening before the regular season. I still believe it'll take a court order to end this lockout.

  • @Eclipton

That's true, but why would the owners want the choice of losing money when there is the option of making money. They will get an agreement done before they start losing money. It just doesn't make sense. Why would anyone choose losing money over making money?
