On the contrary, The ratings are healthy for a show on FIVE and nothing has ever really rated high in the 5:30 slot until it came along. Plus you have to fact in that there's so many chances to catch it now, Weeknight Repeats on Five* at 7pm, Online Catchup, Weekend Omnibus and plus weekday catchups. Not everyone watches TV at the same time.
I'm glad it's on FIVE. At least they bother to Advertise and don't treat it like an embarrassment.
And I'm aware BBC gave it a stable home for 20yrs but it was basically an afterthought to them in it's later years. Even with Good storylines, they failed to promote it.
And the show was on fire during the Kylie/Jason period but we live in much different times now!
And a 4 minute ad break never killed anyone. Try watching the repeat on Fiver, There's 2 in the middle!

Neighbours on five? When home and away got moved from ITV to Five, i stopped watching it. There is one thing that I personally find to be untrue in that new report... the claim that it's the end of a "happy relationship". The BBC has treated it like shite. They didn't promote it anywhere near like they should have done and they took it off air at any point they thought was reasonable. Even now they aren't promoting it. I believe Five will really treat Neighbours like it should be treated.

Neighbours on five? When home and away got moved from ITV to Five, i stopped watching it. So i'll probably stop watching Neighbours when it moves to Five which is a shame because i've bee watching it on the bbc since i was a kid, i'm 25 now.
